  • jesus christ

  • the way you colour the picture is pretty hard, i always thought it was possible to create a grayscale picture and just balance out the colours afterwards

  • OMFG

  • you don't draw only girls

  • @pyrus2009 LOL. ;-)

  • It's very interesting to notice that the picture looks very good at any stage of the painting. You could have stopped the drawing at any time, it would always look amazing. The unfinished looks and sketchy are very appealing to me too. Congratulations.

  • @smokemagnet Thanks, I love the loose and sketchy look very much too. ;-)

  • clean

  • WAIT IRON MANS A GIRL?

  • @JoshLPB I think he use more than one layer:)

  • @TheDoikiri Reality is, in this...there isn't much I would call detail. They are just scribble of paint, only I place them in the right place. I just play trick with your eyes. All the trained painters do. ;-)

  • @idrawgirls So true, and the mind finnishes the painting for you :)

  • hey man, even though i am not a big fan of ms paint this is quite amazing

  • great tutorial! I loved the track you chose for it! :)

  • @ceridwengwyon thx, no prob. This one is really old, there are better ones on my channel with narration. ;-)

  • How long did this take you?

  • @SlickT4444 A little over an hour.

  • what program do you use?

  • @evanbman3333 I just reply to you on other video. Also check your PM.

  • how did you make the center bright?

  • @idraw27 Adding lighter value.

  • Very good.

  • @vorasorn2011 thx

  • seriously i go and poor myself a cup of soda and you finished the face.

  • When you skectch and add values, how is it that when you erase certain parts, the layers under it don erase as well? For example the sketch remains intact despite the fact u add layers and erase later without destroying those foundations? More of a technical question...

  • @orich89 I don't erase much, you can just paint over in digital painting as many time as you want.

  • did used DODGE TOOL here?

  • @Renadrawer dodge tool can be useful as long as you don't over do it.

  • 1 word - EPIC!!!

  • song?

  • your textures and shading are amazing...

  • what the fuck, man! =OOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW!!

  • what are your 'opacity' and 'flow' percentages for your brush when you paint?

  • I have a question: When you (personally) speedpaint, do you use many layers or just one layer?

  • nice work..

  • this is too fast!! I don't even know what tools that they use!!

  • fantastic!

  • i have a question, when you drew the eyes at 0:56, was it on the same layer with the coloring or a layer over it PLEASE HELP.....ANYONE

  • @mgmga1 You are making it too complicated with layers and technical issues. Focus on value (light and dark). Be honest and trust your eye because your brain will tell you otherwise. Draw what you see, not what you think the object should look like.

  • @idrawgirls

thank you SO MUCH, helped a ton with your PM, i sent you a PM that i think you should read :)

  • @mgmga1 i know what u mean mate i thought the same, but truth is u can do the whole painting on one layer which is kinda a good way to grasp digital painting for a bit. layers basically are a luxury to seperate out the painting when u know how.

  • @guitarist1991ful true to that. ;-)

  • lets just hope this guy doesn't f**k as good as he draws... I may have to kill him

  • YOU JUST KILL nico di mattia!!! JAJJA :D

  • great piece of work..the pose of iron man is perfect..

  • Holy crap terd nicities

  • Holy hapy holidays! wut a great drawing

  • it can be donrt if you have been doing it for a long time and you know all the sort cut commans. and if you have did this over and over and over, second nature.

  • What program ??

  • Sick

  • You Have gold in too your hands !

  • godly i say

  • What Program do you use?

  • @MuzzOnUtube looks like photoshop

  • IT LOOKS SO REAL!!!!!Ur very skilled man

  • Hey i was wondering... are you using a touch screen monitor to draw these?

I wanna go buy one... but im not sure if its the right one....=(

  • Amazing

    So frickin Cool

    Thanks for sharing

  • Awsome - well just wondering how long time was it in real time aproximately ?

  • thx watching this vid was fascinating!

  • That's funny how lots of us pratice day and night but not everyone become a Picaso. So no dude.

  • @007Hunkguy you have to paint/draw what you see....its easy to understand these words, but hard to master...you need imagination and time.....oh and the will to complete what you began

  • @007Hunkguy - there is practice and then there is effective practice.

  • @007Hunkguy "Practice" doesn't mean just sit down and scribble. You have to critique your flaws, learn new skills, and constantly modify your techniques. There's such a thing as "good" practice, where you learn new things (practice contrary to popular belief is not the same as mere repetition) and there's such a thing as "bad" practice, which can actually make you WORSE at what you do, if you practice poorly consistently.

  • @007Hunkguy

It is not about the amount of practice one does but the way someone practices.

I can scribble over a 100 drawings but i can guarentee you i will learn more from 1 complete drawing/painting that is well thought out and took my time for it. Fixing the mistakes i made and trying to improve the piece in every way possible, this helps you learn many different aspects of drawing instead of mindless scribbles.

  • @AeolusMN

I don't think this is true. How do you wanna finish a painting when you don't even know the basics. And to get the basics you have to master them through speedpaintings for example. sure from time to time a finished drawing is good, but only through loose sketches you learn faster about your mistakes. this advice comes not from me but from Craig Mullins.

  • @ghost2031 I said "mindless" scribbles, meaning people sketch without analyzing it. How can you truly draw something without understanding it. By analyzing, meaning reworking your drawing instead of just making 20 different sketches of the same subject from fixing the flaws in the drawing you gain a greater understanding, this is what gives you the basics, a good foundation. I guess it is all about what YOU want to gain from drawing something, improve speed, improve your colors, anatomy etc

  • @007Hunkguy mybye the fact ur not getting "as good as picaso" is because u are comparing yourself to him, to be good at anything you have to only consitrat on your skills do not compare your work to a great it will change your drawing style and you will learn slower

  • While growing up, were you better artist than most kids, or did you go to art class to learn ? Just wanna know if it's born talent.

  • @007Hunkguy Its something called practice

  • dude you are really amazing!!

  • Dude That is amazing! Do you need some sort of software on your computer to do that? If so let me know what kind of software it is please. I am an artist as well but, I don't know what to do with my art... You are very talented by the way!

And then for the colour, you overexpose and subexpose?

  • she...

  • no its a dude

  • whitch version of photoshop and how?!

  • what program you use? i want that

  • photoshop probably :p

  • absolute realistic.

  • Actually, you can take yourself farther and faster by learning by yourself, experimenting and doing as much work as possible. 75% of suggestions from others can be thrown away without consideration. Sharing ideas for the most part is useless. I don't run around to everyone I know asking if my current idea is a good one. That's ridiculous.

Watching videos is not a waste of time at all. It's a fast way to learn techniques that aren't the END of learning, but are the BEGINNING of it.

  • can anyone give any advice on where i could get started or something that will show me how to use photoshop

  • Start by using the program every day. Whether you keep what you're doing or not. Do fun projects for family members and funny Christmas gifts. Watch all of the videos that you can, but don't get stuck just watching. There's no way to learn it but to get into and do it. If you don't have Photoshop, snag an older version cheap on eBay or somewhere and start using it. It may not be the current version but the main tools remain pretty much the same in all versions. I taught myself. U can too.

  • also gimp works too and its free
