i was a huge LIVING COLOUR fan, back in the eighties, and somehow i still am. but it feels kinda strange, seeing them cover a song from a much more recent band. i like it but, ... i don't know. i'd rather see the WHITE STRIPES play a coverversion of "elvis is dead" :-)

I saw these guys open for the Rolling Stones in Clemson S.C. years ago (1987 maybe???)

LC blew the doors slap off of RS. I mean it was not even close. They had half the stage of RS but took ALL the energy! Good stuff man. You can dance and rock out to these guys. Their sense of rhythm and melody is really cool when they are jamming.

Anyone who says The White Stripes are "second rate musicians" is obviously not very educated about the band. Jack White is regarded as one of the best musicians of the decade and if you need proof go watch any live video of him playing. The emotion and feeling he puts into every note is incredible and can't be imitated by anybody. I will admit, Meg isn't an incrdible drummer but her job isn't to be flashy, it's to lay down a solid beat for Jack to go nuts over.

These guys are all so fantastic and talented. I had the extreme pleasure of seeing them in, of all places, hagerstown Maryland, at the dinky Cancun Cantina. The club did a horrible job promoting and it was such a tiny show but they rocked the house and several of the members took time to just engage me in cool conversation like everyday guys. Much love for this crew.
