und eins muss man ihnen lassen: soundtechnisch (was die klangqualität betrifft) waren sie in den 90ern schon eindeutige vorreiter, verglichen mit den dem ganzen anderen müll.

One of the Grammy nominated trance tunes by Andy Moor was produced completely ITB (in the box) which means only with a computer a sound card and a pair of speakers and it sounds much better than scooter crap. It's called Delerium - Angelicus (Andy Moor remix)
You can make great tunes without hardware particularity trance and its sub genres.
