  • thats the way to go peacefully

  • I imagine this is exactly what Steve Jobs' beautiful journey home looked like as well. Praise be to those with powerful imaginations.

  • @faithakiyama Steve Jobs was a scam artist. Anyone who knows his history would know this.

Thank god the world's free from that asshole.

  • @SystelCyrus still an artist, with a passion. The world is full of talented people without success. He had something that was needed to succeed, and that is worthy of respect.

  • This movie is so incredibly hard to watch for me. My father died when I was 9 and all I ever remember of him was how he told these crazy stories. At the time they were very entertaining but now that I'm older I know he was making them all up. I resent the hell out of him for that because I know almost nothing real about him. All my brothers and sisters hate me for this but what they don't understand is that they all got to spend time with him. I didn't. Making shit up is not always a good thing.

  • Oh and one more thing...

I'm not religious in any sense of the word; however, I can tell you (unequivocally), that I am thankful to whatever God may be out there for blessing me with a dad who is such an incredible human being.

He is much older now and I am grateful for every day that my boys and I get with him.

  • As someone whose dad was the best man at his wedding and was raised by him single-handledly since birth, this movie is deeply personal for me and very close to my heart with it's symbolism. At the end of the day the bond and love that a father shares with his son is more often than not "magic" in a way that many people will simply never understand. I'm 36 years old with two sons of my own now and to this day my dad is as big a part of their lives as he continues to be in mine. =)

  • SEMPLICEMENTE MAGICO....

  • this is the closer i´ve been crying in a movie :,(

  • @CubanitokiII7 you obvious have no dreams or sense of imagination or the required intelligence to apreciate it...

  • Welcome to your senses...this was a big movie !

  • One of my favourite movie endings of all time, if not my most favourite. :')

  • Cubanitokill7 you suck

  • thanks Billy Crudup for completely ruining this movie... horrible casting there.. they should have had someone hard, but with an endearing part to them that the crowd would love, instead we got a brat who kept calling his dad a liar..

  • 7 people dont like fishes

  • truly beautiful story

  • I love this movie, it reminds a lot of my own father who past away a few months ago, he was always telling his life stories!

  • this film....WOW!!!!!!!

  • うわあああああああああああああああああ(;_;)

  • Great movie, great ending.

  • Fuck, i wish i can end like that

  • @infinity09x wish i could LIVE like that too :)

  • this movie made me speechless!

so beautiful, the story, the scenery, everything..tim burton<3

  • @skimmy3394 This is his best movie by far because it's the least Tim Burtony of all his movies. He's the biggest one trick pony in the history of film making, but this movie strayed from his ridiculously repetitive and lazy style the most. He needs to do more stuff like this.

  • I always cry because he reminds me so much of my grandpa. I never want my grandpa to die.

  • Thats the way I want to go! No tears please just applause

  • Can't wait to see The Tree of Life

  • @365to173repubsPWNED thats the way my father went! no tears just applause

  • T_T Best sendoff the Big Guy can give anyone.

  • I get teary eyed at the "story of my life" part as well, because the music is so epic and it's like... the grand ending to something. But two movies that are far better in my opinion and have made me a lot more sad (and happy) are THE TRUMAN SHOW, and THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION. But great movie, and Obi-Wan Kenobi actor owns :D

  • I get teary eyed in ALOT of movies but there's only a hand full that I literally Choke up in and continue to do so everytime I watch them. This is one of them. I lose it everytime!!! When his father says "The Story of my life" I'm GONE!!! Beautiful Job Mr. Burton!!!

  • great movie! I got it for about a year ago and it still gives me chills, though!

  • My favorite Tim Burton movie ever.... such an underrated movie it makes me so sad

  • "It's unbelievable." "The story...of my life."

  • Recommend to everyone! Never a single minute without excitement!

  • I cried so hard when I saw this. It's just perfect. Usually while I watch movies I like to dissect them, and figure them out as they go. This was the only Tim Burton movie I hadn't seen yet ... So I decided I wasn't going to try and figure it out. (I just watched it for face value, and waited for the end.) This is honestly, just, breathtaking. Tim Burton is my hero. He creates pure magic.

  • when tv5 show these...it was very warm hearted ....i love it so much

  • The best movie I've ever seen. I love this movie, so much. I cried a lot when I watched. Gosh, I can't tell how much I love this movie.

  • Well I cried before I even clicked play on this, from the memory of watching this at about 6. And even from 6 I remembered this ending. Never bettered..

  • This is the best end ever.

  • titanics is too.. its like this one

  • i cried at this part :(

  • this tears me up evertime i watch it

  • Hey ! Marion Cotillard on the beginning !

  • The top "related video" really ruins the mood of this - "Weird ass fish."

  • This and Second Hand Lions are those rare treasures that are horribly underrated. But GREAT movies.

  • Yeah, I have never cried at a movie, but I saw this movie after I had found out my father had cancer. Once I saw this, I balled like a baby.

  • The best movie of its year, highly underrated. By far, Burton's finest film. I saw this in the theatre the weekend it came out and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. The audience broke into huge spontaneous applause when the ending credits rolled.

  • la historia de mi vida.. puff increible final.

  • Big Fish is one of the greatest movies ever made. And the ending makes me cry!

  • this makes me cry so hard

  • The best tribute to people who see life through pink glass, dreamers, and romantics, EVER!

  • the ending is amazing

  • Daddy Warbucks, no!!

    But, yes. Lovely movie.

  • @soloinpomona OMG omg

  • So poignant and perfectly written (and acted). I loved this.

  • I loved this movie. its so underated, like most good films are. You guys should watch a movie called The Fall. It also is underated but its a really good movie.

    GREAT!!!

  • i second that...

this movie got me into making my own film

  • Thank God I'm not the only one. This movie makes me feel like a girl because I can't help but get all teary eyed.

  • can some one tell me what happened because i never saw it. it looks good.

  • Ud have to watch it from the beginning because that's where it all starts. It's sorta like forest gump, with each person representing a period of time in the old mans life.

  • always cry when i watch this movie

  • I cry like a baby when I watch this part. Probably because of my love and respect for my father and the horrible thought of him dying.

  • This movie is sooo underrated. 5/5 stars

  • I lovveeeee this movie.

  • A friend of mine worked on this film, I mostly got it because I wanted to see her name on the credits, but I fell in love with it... and yes, the end/funeral scene always gets me.

  • By far one of the best movies

  • omg i never cry at movies but this scene always makes me bawl

  • Casi me hace llorar cuando lo vi!!! =(

  • This is how death should be. Beautiful...

  • i was crying...

  • I work in an Emergency Room...I wish death was this magical. This scene still brings tears to my eyes every time.

  • The scene where he is in the army and he goes undercover and they send her a letter saying he's dead and she falls down screaming "No, God!" kills me each time.

  • oops, i mean 60

  • i can not believe this got like a 560 on its reviews. excellent film!!!

  • Does this mean that when he was in the tub, he was practicing to transform into the fish?

  • This is the greatest death scene ever. This movie reminds me of my grandmother. She loved telling stories and embellishing! ;)

  • When i die, i want it to be like this. In addition, i would like Devin Townsend playing Simple Lullaby while everyones rejoicing my final trip to the river i spent my childhood by:D

  • I can't see this video, the tears begin to fall.

I remember my old days, my grandfather, when I was just a little kid. Good times, wonderful times. I miss him a lot.

  • My grandfather died this morning, roughly 6:15. I was to go on a field trip to D.C., but I already felt sick, so I was staying home for the day when my Aunt called at 7:00, and I got the news.

I haven't cried yet, maybe it just hasn't hit me. But when it does, it'll hit hard.

  • I cry and I cry and I cry more on this ending. It's beautiful, touching, wonderful, enchanting, and just blissful. Genius ending by a genius director. Makes me open my eyes to the beauty and love of the world around me.
