Having never watched Old Who, I'm suprised to find out that Daleks aren't that common... RTD forced them in so much I figured we were never without them.
And the TARDIS... Hm... I just liked it better when it looked old and a bit worn. Now... I'm not complaining about shades of blue, but I'm someone who appreciates astetics in stuff, and this TARDIS colour is such a primary blue I can't take it seriously.
You see the thing is that the tardis isn't supposed to be able to change on the outside is it. It's supposed to be stuck the same way forever unless the doctor fixes the chamelion circuit in which case it wouldn't look like a police box would it? It's not supposed to change. at all.
Yeah, I mean, I LIKE daleks, but in my opinion, they're overused in Season 27-30. For instance, Evolution of the Daleks/ DIM, was a bit of a waste of Dalek. I mean, 27-30 are four strong seasons. Especially Ecclestons. Matt Smith should have one, but it depends if he stays for long. I mean, if he's there for a single year, course i want him to have a Dalek story. But i want one to be round the middle if he has about 3-4 years.

i totally agree with you the Daleks the are far too overused. They were in 16 stories in the Classic era alone
surely they are running out of ideas??

Moffat has said he prefers to do new things all the time, but will bring back the iconic and 'good' monsters.
Doctor Who without Daleks? Meh, we could do with a break from them for a while.
Every Doctor needs at least ONE Dalek story, I'd say. So you can say "McCoy's Dalek story" or "Davisons Dalek story".
Roll on Tea Time of the Daleks.
