Great change in sailing. Being able to lean the whole rig over to wind\ward, you gain lift instead of downward drive. Ala windsurfing.

@optikid16030 It controls the foils. If they were to pop out of the water, they would lose stability. There's a flap on the trailing edge that's controlled by where the wire is. Search "Fast Fun in Foiler Town" for a sort of explanation.
