  • The dislike bar is the same size as justin bieber's dick

  • Does anyone know the song which is played when they look at the boat carrying poor people behind their ship? There are heavy distorted guitars and nice clean harmonies.

  • @nagyiman do you mean "De Usuahia a la Quiaca" ?

  • @SantiagoGonzalez22 Nope. The guitar had two sharply different tones one clean, playing harmonies and an overdriven tone. This is the closing scene of the boat trip. The pictures are turning from colour to black and white showing the ones in the ark behind the boat on which Ernesto travelled. Thanks for the song btw, it's nice too.

  • Genial.

  • Amazing!!!

  • You can kill a revolutionnary but you can't kill the revolution

  • @linconnudu59 Viva la revolution!!!!!!!!!!

  • @linconnudu59 Normally revolutionarians are the one who kill the revolution when they become powermongers, Maximilian Robespierre is the archetype of the humanist revolutionary turned into a monster...

  • "You will only kill a man". . . . . you cannot kill the idea

  • Beautiful song, wonderful

  • @hsantos45 aguante santiago :D

  • Best Music i ever Listen to and one of My Key Inspiration Per " CHE GUEVARA "

  • i don't see the dislike bar :)

  • This song is both powerful and beautiful. I've never been to South America, but if it feels how this song feels, then it is an amazing place.

  • The views in this film are amazing, and this song is absolutely superb.

  • Don't know about you guys but this is about the only soundtrack that urges me to put on my sunglasses, get in my car and drive wherever the roads take me while these masterpieces blast through the speakers.

  • muy bueno!!! grande sataolalla!

  • ME ENCANTO !

  • My quest ends!!!!! I finally found this song after searching it for over 2 years, man I still can't beleive this. I heard it a couple of times on tv programs as a 'travelling soundtrack'. Now I can die happy :)

  • I used his account!

  • Hi my friend covered this trip on a 1946 Norton.

he has written a book about the trip which comes out on 24th June 2011. it is called To Infinity and Beyond by Stephen E Holmes and is available to pre-order in the UK

  • @steveeholmes Your friend seems to have the same name as you.

  • Let the worls change you and you can change the world Che Guevarra

  • donde descargo esa musikita??

  • Viva Mexico, Argentina y Cuba!

  • The soundtrack of everybody's life.

  • The music (rhythm) is originally from Mauritius, a small island in the indian ocean... It is called "Sega" and was created by the slaves in the 18th century... It is, for us Mauritians, like Jamaica's Reggae, Brazil's Samba, USA's Blues... We are very proud to hear that our music has finally travelled to the other side of the world...

  • @marietorma I don't think so...I'm listenin to sega right now...and it's so different! this rythm exist in Morocco too and in others lands...I'm so sorry but I think you're wrong

  • @missantico

The rhythm is a 6/8 - Which is the base rhythm of Sega music, and Maloya in Reunion Island, 200km west of Mauritius. Listen to "Mo Tangalay (Sega lontan) - Josiane Cassambo Nankoo", you'll see it's the same...

  • @marietorma The rhythm is originally from Argentina (argentine folk music) Santaolalla is an argentinian musician... listen to the bombo legüero (amerindian/gaucho drum) and guitar sounds... pure argentine folk music! that´s the music created by gauchos the last century! Do you think gauchos had enough knowledge to know where it´s situated the tiny Mauritius island? hahahaha lol! you´re very funny!

  • @Almagestos Pfff... Tiny Mauritius where there never was any genocide or dictatorship, like in your BIG country argentina, where nazis and italian fascists found political asylum... Where do you think reggae music comes from? and salsa? aren't they from small poor Jamaica and Cuba? You must be french... Or american... You are so arrogant...

  • @marietorma Most of immigrants in Argentina were from Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Russia... not from Mauritius, so it´s imposible to copy or adopt a music situated in a very far away and almost invisible island... this is argentine folk music, can you hear the bombo? was created by gauchos, gauchos were analphabet without any culture or knowledge about Mauritius... can you her the charango? is an andean music instrument...

Any genocide in Mauritius? what about the Dodo bird? lol

  • @Almagestos How does a people without a culture create a music instrument I wonder :p

  • @micvrom Yes, they had their own culture (mixed culture= european/amerindian)... but not enough knowledge about a tiny island called mauritius... we are talking about music created during the spanish colony... most of tiny island as mauritius, tuvalu, kiribati were unknow places for most of people excepting the explorers...

  • @Almagestos and when I said they were analphabet without any culture I mean.... they were analphabet about the world geography... Mauritius is an unknow place even for nowdays people... so how can gauchos copy a rhythm from a far away microisland during an epoch without any kind of information, books, etc... this music wasn´t created by the elites, was created by the ordinary poor people... with a guitar taken from spaniards and bombo created by gauchos...

  • @marietorma

    saki li man!!!!

  • @marietorma maybe you have the same tipe of rhythm but i can tell you that nobody in argentina copied it from your country.. is folk music (CHACARERA)..but whats interesting is how people feel the same music no matter how far from eachother...

  • Wonderful music, superb movie and a life worth appreciating

  • cool awsome music and matching.

  • la musica es espetacular

    la palicula esta buenisima

  • QUE MUSICA POR DIOS GENIO GUSTAVO SANTAOLALLA!!!!!!!!!!

  • This makes me want to experience the beautiful culture of South America so bad!!!

One day when I'm older I'm going across South America on a Motor Cycle : )

  • @Graddee you should do it, it will prob. change your life...good luck.

  • @Graddee you're not going alone, i'll go with you :-)

  • This song is on one of my favorite skate movies..............it's really has the ability to make on emotional one minute but be joyful over new beginnings the next...........Truly beautiful

  • amazing song

  • I like very much the mix, between the bombo and the charango vs. the strings, as if they were the characters and the orchestra the landscape. Then we hear the electric guitar chord, like the time passing, giving a time context, actuality and rebel. It is apropiate for telling the story of such a controvertial personality, travelling arround a landcape without words to describe: South America. An excellent work, Santaolalla!

  • great film

  • In my opinion, Gustavo Santaolalla makes the best electronic music in Latin America, mixed with traditional and acoustically generated sounds. I'm a huge fan of his band Bajofondo. He is great!!! I'm from Brazil, but I love Argentina and it's music, dance and literature. I recommend another Argentinian composer, Lalo Schifrin, who made awesome soundtracks too, including "Mission: Impossible" Theme.

  • @tomlemos You can check Jaime Torres "Electroplano" chill out music, a mix between andean music and electro sounds... some tracks are Zelma, Lobos, La Vida La...

And about electro tango, another projects are: Tanghetto, Ultratango...

  • @Almagestos Thank you! I already know Tanghetto, and I like their jazz-tango remakes. But I don't know Jaime Torres or Ultratango yet. I was in Bs As last weekend and saw an Ultratango's CD in a store, and became curious about it. This is a nice coincidence. I like very much some of Gotan Project's songs.

  • If someone is bashing Che 9 times out of 10 they will be a US-American, oviously of a spoiled background and/or some biggoted office manager and of course know nothing about him and always their bias stands out more than a republican on Shankhill road. These people are merely jelous as he was a far greater person than them and they have no concept of what a true human is.

  • @frasssaa I'am an american socialist who proudly supports che!

  • @bagman121 I am not saying all Americans or nearly all Americans are like this, simply that spoiled Americans who at least benifit a fair bit from capitalism form nearly all the people who hate Che

  • @frasssaa Very if their was a socialist lead revolution in america, i would gladly throw my gun and my life in for the cause!

  • @frasssaa I don't hate ché his ideas where good but communusme was not the good way and now cuba still has castro

  • @Arizonasnipe Go beyond your simplistic assumptions.

  • A propósito; QUÉ BUENA MOTO!!!!

  • @magolandia1 que comentario desubicado ajjaa

  • ...I Really Really wanted to listen to this Soundtrack because it's buzzing in my head for quite long. I haven't finished watching the whole movie one day I will But for the Time being I am really enjoying this theme My demon I cannot put into words that How Excited and How I am feeling right now...

Cheers to the music Director for creating such a lovely theme, Absolutely loved it..

  • Ever since I saw this movie I've become an admirer of Che

  • @tusharmurthy Then you obviously know very little about him.

  • oH mY!!!! WONDERFUL!!!

  • I love this song, thanks for putting it up.

  • viva latinoamerica unida

  • music is so heart touching... it gives traditional feel of latin america...

  • Viva latinoamerica now always to victory

  • Viva latinoamerica ahora siempre, hasta la victoria.

  • impressive

  • Epic music, and a most epic movie !

  • Otimo filme, linda musica linda historia!!!

Viva che e a cultura latino americana !!!

  • great music, great movie!!!

  • my favorite part of the movies was when they go to machu picchu.

  • anybody know the name of the song that plays after che's given his speech about latin american being one nation without frontiers??? when they're in the hut celebrating his birthday.... right after he leaves to hut to go swiming in the river.

    It's like an old mumbo.

  • mambo jambo

  • No, mambo jambo was before che's speech. I'm talking about after his speech. The song said something about eating rice with a straw... it's the song playing as che leaves the hut to go swin in the river.

    You know it???

  • The name of the raft was Mambo - Tango, not Mambo - Jango.

  • I love this, this one of the greatest songs I know and the movie was also great!

  • Sin Nombre!!!

  • yeah! but i want the guitar version that plays in sin nombre. Have any clue where i might find it?

  • Same I can't find it anywhere. Search goes on.

  • Let me think...What about in the movie soundtrack.? Go to your closest store and buy it!!

  • Everytime I listen to this music I fill type freedom and go somewhere like ernesto on my Motorcycle. Great Music !! Great filling!!

  • Love this film. Walter Salles is a brilliant director. All the films I have seen by him are very moving and well cast.

  • i LOVE this movie!

its a special movie too. my bf was the one who showed it to me. hes a big fan of CHE. and i stole his dvd of this movie.

    :P

    lol.

  • This movie has made me a fan of Che ;)

  • 1:42!

  • @knuckles15961 Where can I read that story?

  • @LittleValo Google it, or you can come down to miami, and try wearing a Che guevara shirt and see how long you last before the cubans riot on you :P

But yeah, google is probably your best bet

  • First of all what do you mean by "innoncent people" he became in a serial killer or something? when you throw this type of comment you be sure to support your argument with fact, incidents, examples, etc. If not is just nonsense. Second he was a revolutionary, what do you spect? how many revolution in history do you know without fights and dead people? And you be sure to check the story of Fulgencio Batista.

  • Why did not want to talk about politics if the life of a nation depends on it? The life of the World, not detract life so he goes to the world. Discuss what you want the peace is apparent that kills us.

  • @sebaapple: I am not against those discussions in general at all. But here on YouTube we are in a musical platform. Especially on my channel. So I would appreciate if you follow my advice to not arouse political discussions. Thanks & Viva ALL humans in the world. ;-)

  • @tiad spoken like a true humanitarian

  • @knuckles15961, @all:

Please no political discussions...vote & comment only the music, film, artist etc. Thanks.

  • He was from Argentina, that is how Argentinians are, we can be the best and the worst , myself included i am from Cordoba Argentina, and he is my comandante and he will be for ever.
