Oh dear, poor Miki- usually so consistent in her most recent year in competition, this is such a heartbreaker of a performance., sloppy in execution, but she will pull through in another attempt at a comeback. But still she looked so beautiful enough that I want to cry with her for her loss.
This is not Mikis fault! She didnt have any training during season off and she is not even competing in competitions this season. She only made this program 2 weeks ago just for Japan Open. I think she is really brave to skate out there. Well done.
This is common to happen to most skaters. Afterall, it's the first competition of the season since worlds. And plus with all the new rules on spins, it is difficult to do well in the first competition, unless you fully know you are prepared. Once they keep competiting, they get better at it later.
i think the reason she was nervous because her choreography is not ready. Compare last season's choreography to this one. Almost identical similar with jumps, transitions, and step sequence the same. Comment if you notice too.
Я бы не сказала, что абсолютно не в форме. На показательных в тот же день (или на следующий, я не поняла) она выступила замечательно и каталась с явным удовольствием:-).
Бедняга Мики! Выступать дома и в статусе действующей чемпионки мира, и быть абсолютно не в форме...По-моему, она хотела остановиться и уйти с катка после первых двух падений, но заставила себя доехать до конца. Зря ее выдернули на эти соревнования, ведь она пропускает сезон, если не вообще заканчивает карьеру (((

Okay its lacking way too much choreography. And so slow. She also looks very nervous
