Don't waist your time boys. Arsen is the better wrestler hands down. That Wilson beats him is a credit to his skill, trainging and determination to win. Russian wrestlers don't really care who they lose to, as long as they win when it counts.

I would think that the World Cup counts and Wilson beat Fadzaev there in 1991. Their record head to head is 2-2.

how lucky he was????Look at the match Wilson is very passiv fighting!Arsen attacking him all the time!Look at the succes of Arsen how many medals he won in his life and look at Wilsons medals!

Was he lucky when he beat B.saytiev at the world cup as well? Wilson has also medalled at 2 worlds, won 2 world cups and medalled at 3 other world cups, he must be a very lucky guy to pull that off

I dont say that Wilson is not good,sure Wilson was a very good wrestler but for me Arsen was the best in the 80's and early 90's.Slay beatet Saitiev also in Sydney but you cant say that Slay was the better wrestler cause he beatet Saitiev 1 time.

Brands1 LUCK no. Wilson style was a bad match up for Fadzaev and he should be commended for his victories. But it is noted that when Wilson beat Fadzaev it was a close match when Fadzaev beat wilson he really beat him down.

Fadzaev only beat Wilson handlily once (this match). The other match was a 3-0 win in the final of the 1991 World Championships. It was really a 1-0 match as Wilson had to go for it with the final seconds ticking down and Fadzaev caught him. Wilson's former and best technical coach agreed that Wilson made the right choice losing aggressive.

Arsen was clearly the better fighter and at the World Cup where he lost against Wilson,Arsen was the better fighter,Wilson won very lucky!Arsen was the best Freestyler in 68 kg !
