That's pretty slick man. A friend of mine has a factory team RC18b with a mamba 25 and a 6800Kv motor. He races dirt ovals with it. My big old HPI savage runs about a 23 second lap, while he's just under 18 seconds. Pretty sweet double-backer too!

that thing is fast! i'm thinking about getting one and putting a mamba on it, but i keep hearing rumors that the mamba glitches when you use it. Can you please tell me if this is true so i can get a brushless that doesn't glitch?

well, anythin can cause glitching (loose wires, receiver, etc) Ive has this mamba and it never glitched on me. If you do glitch, dont forget to solder your motor wires (red, white and black) good luck.

with a mamba 8000, and 3s lipo, it can do way over 70 mph

i laugh at you. an 8000 kv is less useable and will heat up but a 8000 is faster. atleast mine is anyway! ure obviously getting confused with torque. the 6.8kv will have more torque than the 8k but wont be as fast

exactly, a 6.8 can be geared much higher, because of it's higher torque output. It has far more overall potential output than the 8k. Just ask castle. They'll tell ya.

ya, but on highest possible gearing it will bes faster, but everyday use and stock-ish gearing the 8k is faster. 8 years of hobby grade experience and 6 years of brushless experience doesnt lie ;D

Yes they are great little cars. They can take a pretty good bashing and we race hard. Youll definatly want a Brushless system though. good luck.

that tracks pimp. its alot better than mine. i have a 18t track with a cross over and stuff but your jumps are twice as big. NICE TRACK
