Why do I feel like he is trying to sell me something or convince me of something. Why not just tell me directly, why is he saying so much in so many different ways. There's a lot of people with a lot of answers and it all sounds convincing but your always the listener. Why is that? think about it.

I much appreciated and enjoyed this conversation - and I would also like to add that, in my experience, 'Nirvana' is both complete cessation (of the mind) and not happiness, but absolute, indescribable bliss. And do agree that this bliss is not the driving force on the spiritual path, but it is a natural aspect of it, just as well as the excruciating aspects. And it feels like it just as well is always a moving toward the Ultimate, and its pulling you...so many beautiful dichotomies and yes-ands
Maybe, just maybe: 'existence' is already conscious of itself, and maybe always aware of itself: always. Maybe the mind, the bio-computer with all its liner and conflicting processes is a disturbance within this awareness. Perhaps, with a total cessation of thought, the meditative brain/mind can become a field generator and not a bio algorithm processor. Maybe when this massively parallel and instantaneously 'intelligence' field is 'attuned' then nirvana happens. Or maybe this is not so.
Today someone at work wanted to know how I was so happy. I told them I wasn't so much happy as I was content. Nirvana? Then I watched this video. Synchronicity?
i still remember one thing fam said...it was something like..."i'd tell him its just around the corner...so he'll run till he drops from being exhausted" << my mother did the same thing to me...but she's only twich my age so i have to forgive her ^_.
Beautiful use of words Adya : ) May you continue to assist others in finding their truth. As the universe peers through our eyes and conduces this experience, let us become conscious of the ever pervading moment. As we awake from our slumber, we humbly recognize that there was no chase in the first place.

Maybe we really are centers of expression for the Primal- Will-To-Good which eternally creates and sustains the universe -so there are googles of espressing itself wholly and uniquely or something. more and more expressions of itself, and the most evolved the expressions they can become -for it's joy and the joy of each expression with the process

actually from my little experience i would say, that indeed is not meaning "very very etc. happy"....it is more to it than being simply "happy" and
instead like "being" simply, feelling really a part of everything...but from that in the end is still an "imensly of deep beauty and emanetes an intensly deep joy, from the love that is all around you being like a substance even, and nothing is not wrong...you feel only compassion, understanding and not judgement "
