I just saw a fail in Peter Jacskon's third movie; Men and Elves can run past Pippin and Merry in RotK outside Mordor, though hobbits are said to be the fastest creature (on two legs) in Tolkiens Middle Earth. (As I could remember it)

Frodo was burdened with the ring indeed. The fate of everything depended on him,indeed. But don't you think the person who actually SAVED everyone should at least get SOME credit?

Yes, Sam was a hero, but he also wasn't burdened with the Ring. You try lugging around the source of all evil and see how that works out for you. If Sam had been the one to carry the Ring it would have been disastrous, as he doesn't have as high of a resistence to it as Frodo does. I'm tired of people hating on Frodo when they have no idea what he went through.

Yeah, I felt sorry for Frodo all the way through the book AND especially in the films when he says in Fellowship "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened." That really got me.

@XxMsNazgulxX However, we shud think about that. Yes, Sam didnt carry the great burden of the ring, but he carried the great burden of frodo himself. Could Frodo have survived the journey without sam? Considering the fact that all evil forces in middle earth were after him and the ring as was gollum. I dont think that frodo could have made the journey without sam. There are equal intervals of heroism if you were to ask me.

this is amazing editing. the one and ONLY thing that would have made it better is if there was some audio from the film, particularly when Aragorn says "For Frodo". That would have been incredible.
