  • The RIAA and FBI ignored the following while thousands were being sued for music piracy. A NC police officer was RECORDED. He named the name Kazaa discussing how the songs are arranged in groups and you just click and get them He said its the thing to do everybody is doing it He bet his daughters had downloaded a thousand songs on his computer He had to buy a new computer his old one FILLED UP WITH MEMORY He laughed and said he hoped the federal government did not come and investigate him

  • The World Wide Web was launched in 1990, thanks to Tim Berners Lee, most people had a PC and an Internet connection by 1995, by 1998 file sharing had grown wide spread and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act went into effect by the end of 1998. The corporate elitists will never be able to shutdown all file sharers, there will always be a way. The music/movie industry is filthy rich, with billions of dollars. If I were a singer I'd make my money touring concerts and encourage bootleg filming

  • As if those greedy assholes (pardon my language) dont make enough money already..

  • "The R.I.A.A., we don't make music, we make it illegal" lmao. As a composer, I feel the need to be reasonably compensated for my work, but I would gladly share everything I've ever written with the world as long as I got paid for my "time". Artists making "millions" from a tune is crazy! (I know, I'm stating to sound Socialist, but I just want to make a living, not millions! Copying is not theft, but pay the guy who wrote and performed the music for his art!

  • make a you tube video that tells if its legal at all to download and burn movies.music.video games.software .etc and if tther is a legal wway to down loadd and burn music.movies. video games .softwaare .etc and if so howw to do it legally

  • come up with a legal wayy to down load and bburn mmusic and movies

  • Cary Sherman President of the Board of Directors of RIAA

Mitch Bainwol Chairman/CEO of the RIAA

    Hillary Rosen Former Chairman thereof

Lyor Cohen North American Chairman/CEO of Recorded Music for Warner Music Group

Seymour Stein vice president Warner Bros. Records

    Chairman/CEO of MPAA Daniel Glickman

    Robert Igers Walt Disney Chairman

Tom Rothman chairman Fox Filmed Entertainment

All of them and many more are all Jews. So, when you say, "Fuck the RIAA" you are actually saying, "Fuck the Jews."

  • nice satire, and this is exactly why I download every single binary bit of music, movies, and tv from free sources. If the RIAA was FAIR, I would go back to buying, but for now, I'm glad to DL thousands of dollars in media to screw them.

  • And you RIAA are full of shit and right now im singing your song bitch!! guess what you can do? nothing, cuz you don't even know the song i'm singin' i hate you!!!

  • Woooooh, come get me!!! jk

  • im pretty sure music cd's downloads by RIAA and co come with spyware

  • I never buy CD I can't play on PC or make a spare copy of.

  • Remember people still have to buy music like this video implies to upload music and post it on website's like youtube. So yeah basically we all can search for almost whatever music we want to hear illegally without downloading the music and possibly getting slapped with a big fat greedy lawsuit. If they're going to file lawsuits heck why don't they just sue anyone who watches or listens to videos with music in them? because they can't sue us because they would be sueing over one billion people.

  • Clarification.

    1) You can make copies of your music BY LAW

    2) However, you CANNOT bypass DRM...

So... while you have the legal right to copy music you are not allowed to bypass protection schemas.

  • @Raigethefury Thank you, at least someone know there right's and laws. I give you kudo's. The people now a days do not know nothing!

  • Some inaccuracies in the video; The RIAA does allow you to copy the CD for personal use, but you cannot sell it or share it online. Also pertaining to live performances of recorded music, or playing recorded music in a public place, that is the jurisdiction of ASCAP.

  • I reconfigured my ps2 so that i can now play ALL my piloted games and dvd's on it. :D

  • we are really raising a wrong generation...it's sad.

  • I am not buying LESS music because I download music (I don't), I am BUYING LESS MUSIC because of the RIAA bullies. Kiss my grits

  • @chadpopstar you suck

  • Source: Wired Magazine

The Obama administration for the first time is weighing in on a Recording Industry Association of America file sharing lawsuit and is supporting hefty awards of as much as $150,000 per purloined music track.

The government said the damages range of $750 to $150,000 per violation of the Copyright Act was warranted.

  • And yet Obama is blocking the investigation of the bush administration for war crimes.

  • beacuse the war crimes dont exist

  • You really are a crazy person if you believe war crimes don't exist. LOL!

  • number one: bush didnt commit any war crimes

number two: there are no rules to war! you can do what ever the fuck you want in war!

number three why the hell are we talking a bout this in a vido about the riaa?

  • Oh, I guess you've never heard of the Geneva Conventions...go back to your cave.

  • War crimes do exixt crazyperson1000. You must not have been paying attention. Or like HellNoKittee said, maybe you have been in a cave? Maybe you can not get the news inside of your cave? LOL Wake up!

  • hehe crazypersons is being sarcastic hehe

  • LOL!

  • war crime? isn't war that thing where people kill each other

  • Yes, sadly that is what it is. But there is sometimes justification such as in defending ones country, other individuals, or ones self. There are still rules when it comes to wars. Are you unfamiliar with the Geneva Conventions? If you are, educate yourself by doing a Google search. You will learn a lot. ;)

  • i know there are rules. i just think they are meaningless

  • Well yes, I do see the irony on having rules when it comes to wars also. Rules to kill by...does not make much sense.

  • EGG-FRIGGIN-ZACTLY

  • yeah fuck the rules WOOOHOOO

  • @AdamSewell

    VIVA REVOLUCION!!

  • lol what a crock.... i also rip dvd's and pirate games XD

  • its simple..if we all stopped buying music and video and stopped listening and watching it.we could all very well have them at our knees.i stopped buying and even listening to any music or watching any movies or shows back in 2007 and it did me some good.sure im on the internet for now for information and other reading.but simply put dont give in and just dont bother supporting any of them or even downloading it for free even.we dont need the entertainment industry to live and survive.

  • Brilliant. And don't think the RIAA sub humans wouldn't do this if they could. Amazing that people choose to spend their lives harassing people. Sickening.

  • absolutely perfect. well done man.

  • Q: What do you call 2,000 laywers under the sea?

    A: A good start

  • so true... lol

  • Brilliant...

  • Really great stuff.

  • i have 9 gigs on my ipod.....all "stolen"

  • Fuck the RIAA in the ass.

  • hunt down all laywers and drop them in shark infested waters.

    problem solved

  • hunt down all laywers and drop them in shark infested waters...with laser beams attached to their heads lol

  • Brainstorm - That doesn't seem fair to the sharks. Making them eat lawyers - wouldn't that be animal cruelty?

  • WHY IS IT WRONG TO RIP MUSIC ? WHAT IF WE WANT TO RIP MUSIC AND PUT IT ON OUR PSP,PHONE,OR IPOD IM NOT GANNA PAY EXTRA TO BUY "iTUNES"

  • Watch this video again, It was an exaggerated joke, but nevertheless gets the point across that the maker of this video thinks the RIAA is evil.

  • The RIAA isn't? I think they're par with the MPAA. Both, obviously spawns of Laissez (Un-)Fair... er... Satan.

  • I am a artist and the Riaa doesn't pay us shit !

  • I would just like the RIAA to present the poor starving recording artists they claim to be defending....Habeus Corpus, baby!

  • If you support legalizing downloading music, then you are the problem!

  • The only *problem* is that most of the music we hear on a daily basis is owned by a dying industry. And they're dying because, to put it bluntly, they're NO LONGER RELEVANT. Today we have home recording equipment and internet publishing...there's no reason anyone should sign a record deal any more, except to become millionaires. And any musician who's in it for the money is not a real artist. Let the "professionals" get real jobs and make music in their off-time, just like the rest of us.

  • I agree, there is no need for record labels & record corporations. I don't support legalizing free music because free music actually increases record sales. Only the stupid & ignorant actually beleive in the RIAA. If a artist wants to get rich without a record label, they can promote their work to the public domain & find other ways to invest. Artists (music & art) don't get paid much, so its wise to have a backup plan. The Soundscan statistics show it. The RIAA sales nothing but crap.

  • You know, a lot of music downloading already is legal.

    (many independent artists, etc)

  • True. I myself am a independent music, however, you have to be careful when you download "independent" mp3s. Some sites may state the files as free when they are really not---so do some research before downloading.

  • Sites like Jamendo rule. Independent artists are starting to realize the album should be a promotional vehicle rather than the source of revenue. The large record labels? Still clueless and way behind the learning curve.

  • Oh sure...& while your at it, make everyone pay for downloading .gif & .jpg images online! People can get them free! While your at it, make everyone pay for seeing their emails & downloading Adobe Flash Player (which people get for free.) See what happens when copyrights go too far? It screws the economy! Fucking douche! Librals suchs as yourselves are what made the record companies shoot themselves in foot! Music is art, not a product. Stop ruining people's lives!

  • Who or what are you talking about or to?

  • I'm talking about people who think you should pay for everything you download online (even at a free value). Copyright is no longer a good thing anymore.

  • @Stranahan he is talking to YOU you stupid, mouth breathing hippie liberal

  • lol

  • nice job.

  • The newest rigged game played is to record a new band's music in exchange for all of the music rights. Then they dump the band. The band doesn't get paid for their efforts, they are giving up their rights to income in exchange for the a chance of exposure.

The studio then sells the rights in bundles to larger studios, who may or may not market and release the music.

Either way, the musician doesn't make a dime and their music may never be heard.

  • This is very old news. It was happening to friends of mine in the late 1960s. It obviously still is!

    All corporations are evil!

  • Some guy named Jimmy Webb, in his book "TuneSmith" complains that the RIAA does it's best to keep from paying the musicians by charging them high fees for everything they do. He relates a few stories about musicians that recorded big hits and ended up owing the studios, while they made millions.

  • ...While the studios made millions...

Look at what happened to Jim Croce and Billy Joel...

  • If you want to support artists, go to their concerts. That is where the actual artists make the most money instead of most of it going directly to the record label.

  • Thank you, Sir Stranahan.

I pray for sanity in the courts.

    Fair Use must mean something.

  • I wonder if this guy has studied the

patriot act? or the real I.D act? or the bill

1959? the new thought crime act! I wonder if he ever investigated the history of how fascism comes to a open democratic society? I wonder who he supports for president?

and I wonder if he realizes that no other candidate will stop this machine of welfare, warfare than my main man Ron Paul!

  • So - you ask all this because of an RIAA video that parodies their Big Brother like tactics?

Or was that something you just cut and paste everywhere you can?

  • What about the law now that states that it is now illegal for me to put my songs on my harddrive from CDs that I have bought and already OWN.

Screw the RIAA and GREEDY MUSOS.

  • I agree: the RIAA is a piece of shit..

However, always remember not to rip off artists by stealing their music if you do.

I know consumers, aka, thieves, don't give a shit about the musicians who make the music the thieves admire, but they need their fucking income too.

I say this because I'm a musician. The greed on both ends of society: the RIAA AND

  • ...Consumers are both ruining music.

The RIAA is just as evil and greedy as music thieves; but DON'T fucking steal music.

  • So you think that anyone that posts on here steals music?

I DONT STEAL MUSIC, I buy the CD. I would rather the hard copy.

  • You know libel is illegal too, right?

  • "It's a small world after all . . ." OH!, I'm in real trouble now, I put it in writing.

  • So the song that keeps running thru my mind is really an illegal infringement on the right of greedy corporate bastards to profit endlessly from the work of others? Will a tin foil hat keep Media Sentry from detecting it and suing me?

  • ...I say this not on behalf of the RIAA, nor musical thieves, but musicans / artists who love music so much that they have made music a career. Money is needed for production, food, and sustainable living.

  • How many millions do the top artists like U2 and the Rolling Stones need for food and sustainable living?

How many mansions and cars do some of those GANGSTA rappers need?

  • Alot of their success was supported by investors who are, in other words, record companies.

I'll tell you one thing - many of those artists you see flaunting 'their riches' aren't nearly as wealthy as they portray to be.

Those artists made it because their labels marketed the shit out of them.

Everything I wrote prior to your response, was written with independant artists in mind. U2, etc., are monopolies.

  • OK.

  • ...This, coming from a musician; I despise the RIAA. I despise how they're putting up so many laws around music and exploiting the very divine, yet fragile natural resource of music and the arts.

However, I equally despise downloading music whilst not financially crediting the artists who produced the audio...

  • do you have the rights for the music you used in this? ps - cute kid!
