General rule of thumb is to turn on the TX first then the RX.... because the RX could receive "noise" from another source & could cause a premature detonation. Not something you'd want to experience while your standing right next to your explosive while turning on the RX. Then you'd also want a cover on the 'detonate' button because you wouldn't want to press it by accident while retreating to a safe distance.... Very cool

You should implement a dead hand system - the igniter completes the circuit when the signal stops coming in, not when it starts.

@porrsmurfen Depends on the frequency. If its in the 300MHz range, then no not really. But there are ways around it even if you use a different frequency. You could add a timer so that the radio would not be active until a certain amount of time went by. RR.
