  • Thanks bud, nice music....awesome music in fact.

Kinsey and Covington just keep on adding kilos.

Jeez I wish you guys would lose a few pounds.

We don't want to die young, we love you too much.

Selfish and thoughtful all in one:-)

  • Great clip... great Seamus! anybody know what his set up is? is that a banded slant? One of the best clip on mic sounds i've heard, with great use of effects!

  • as a citizen of aizawl...i'd like to thank u for posting this vid....it was a great gig...and the band even lowered their fees for this particular gig...the program was called "JAZZ up Aizawl"organized by Benjamin Nonoa

  • Are they living in Aizawl ?

  • @RestorationWerks: Got any good stories to share?

  • nice !...

  • bass line _-_ very groovy happy

    lol

  • Scott Kinsey is keyboard's Michael Moore. :-) But what are those 2 strange flaps hanging from his cap??

All kidding aside: GREAT stuff, maybe the best,

  • @Felix2036 that is not a flag but a very precious cloth of my tribe (Mizo tribe) we gave it to only the ones we honor and respect :)

  • greatest synth sound i've ever heard

  • Nice stuff Seamus. I'm starting a project with similar sounds... got some fx for my sax. Love your stuff!

  • Was this an actual tour of India or just one or two stops? I've never heard of any band from the West mounting a complete tour of India. I wonder how they were received and whether it's fruitful ground for such tours.

  • Who the fuck edited this? Why is the bass solo at the beginning silent? For the fucking credits? Dipshit 'filmmaker'.

  • But . . . uh . . . let's thank him for providing it. We got most of it and that's better than nothing at all.

  • @alsmoon Yeah, who cares about the bass player - it's just Matthew Garrison... just kidding....

  • Awesome!!

  • Awesome!

  • Pute Nonoa, Mafaka, Er. L. Pachuaua, Lianhrima, Makuka, Er. Zuala, Sangzuala teho, Pu Kinsey teho an va ngaihawm leh tawh ve...

  • Keep it up uncle kirk! hope to see you live very soon!!!!!

  • I Iove that groove!

    sick!

  • Seamus! Boy, you better PLAY!!!

  • Seamus really used the electronics well. N2U, Gary Bartz style - except more tasteful.

  • Great groove here from great musicians. What was the sound during Seamus's solo that was some sort of electronic blend? It knocked me out.

  • just awesome music. really awesome.

  • it´s burning! how interesting groove...

  • ...and (the voice of) Karim Ziad. GREAT MUSIC!

  • Great great great. Love this stuff.

  • finally some people who REALLY know how to use electronics to make real music! thats an art in itself, and in addition to being artful with electronics, all of these guys are amazing musicians in any setting.

  • This reminds me of "GeGe and the Mother Toungue"...dig it!!

  • What on Earth is hanging out of Kinsey's head!!??? His pajama leg?

  • What's wrong with just jamming a tune? does everything HAVE to be written in advance for it to be good? to me it's the opposite. Seeing guys like these just jamming to something is as good as it gets. And that's why people go to see them live. Having that said there IS also a structure to this tune, I'm just talking about stuff in general

  • I have spent time talking, eating and hanging with all those guys. They are great guys, and can play their asses off. I'm just saying that the tune seems to just float around without a real structure. With that said, maybe that was the goal, but, it gets a tad snoozy.

Personally, I liked the Tribal Tech before Rocket Science. After that, they stopped "writing" tunes and just jammed them.

    Cov is a great drummer.

  • I like very much Kirk Covington recent work with Llibert Fortuny & Gary Willis, Slaughterhaouse 3. Llibert Fortuny it's a sax player from Barcelona and it's great. A month aqo I saw playing together Seamus Blake, Gary Willis, Llibert Fortuny and others... Barcelona Jazz is pushing!!

  • Scott is THE main guy who will take on the mantle of Joe Zawinul for the future.

As well as being a SERIOUSLY flexible and gifted player - he's also a REALLY nice guy.

If you see him in concert and he's hanging around, go and talk to him. A lovely guy and a fantastic keyboard player.

And for teh record - Kirk Covington is the GREATEST drummer around today. He just simply ROCKS !!

  • Love all the players...shaky on the composition.

  • I'm sure you're a wonderful composer.
