Im not a drummer but i do know that the point of the percussion instruments are to keep rythm. You may be travis barker playing a mile a minute but what good is that if its off rythm...furthermore meg is hot
hate jools holland crowds, 3:53 was the pinnacle of enjoyment I saw from anyone in that audience. Must be disheartening for the acts to be stared at by zombies every performance :/

The white stripes are horrible. Meg is a really embarrasing drummer and the whole synth thing in this song sounds like garbage. The only thing i give them.props for is that breakdown rift is kinda good. But other then that, this sounds like my 7th grade band playing in my moms garage. Seriously, anyone could make this music

the tempo change is nice and the riff rips you open, but it's simple, and that's why it works. i think it's an insult to call him a guitar hero, he's an artist. it's good because it's made well, that's all. it's harder to make good art than it is to riff. a big secret to what's grabbing your ears is the wah-style pedal, it's a whammy. people think he just uses it for bass, but he emulates slide and gets harmonies out of it. that's how he gets those killer 6th notes over the main riff.
guys,..this songs has the same powerful energy that ac/dc songs have
i mean,..i'm not saying that just to talk about ac/dc as a fucking rock rock n' roll band that's really umbelivable great (which is true) but both bands kick ass on stage!
goddamn it no man... this is nothing like AC/DC at all... AC/DC's lyrics are lame his his voice sounds like hes trying to to hard to be cool. Their music is about 45 second guitar solo's and power guitar riffs. His sound is about making lots of noise without doing hardly anything.
Not to mention it's a 2-piece band and ac/dc is a 5-piece with bass...
this is WAY more jazz/heavy alt rock... an alternative genre of its own, that is why he is the best musician alive right now.

guys,..this songs has the same powerful energy that ac/dc songs have
i mean,..i'm not saying that just to talk about ac/dc as a fucking rock rock n' roll band that's really umbelivable great (which is true) but both bands kick ass on stage!

goddamn it no man... this is nothing like AC/DC at all... AC/DC's lyrics are lame his his voice sounds like hes trying to to hard to be cool. Their music is about 45 second guitar solo's and power guitar riffs. His sound is about making lots of noise without doing hardly anything.
Not to mention it's a 2-piece band and ac/dc is a 5-piece with bass...
this is WAY more jazz/heavy alt rock... an alternative genre of its own, that is why he is the best musician alive right now.

I will always prefer guitar players with feeling like jack over the steve vais and yngwie malsmsteens of the world. jacks guitar parts are amazing

@Seagerash I actually have to say that Vai actually puts alot of emotion into his playing, unlike most neoclassical-ish shredders...but nothing compared to Jack White.

@Seagerash Have you ever seen Steve Vai play? He pours his soul into it! But you are right, I'd prefer to hear Jack, he manages to write such catchy tunes!! Like the Icky Thump riff, all those massively technical people would overlook it and do some tapping and shit...

@LordHondros Satriani's the same as Vai. That whole genre sounds like what you'd get if you asked a supercomputer to render an hour-long guitar solo; repetitive, cold, impersonal, and boring.
