@Syver95 In bluegrass they usually called it an "upright bass". In classical music they call it a "string bass" - I guess to distinguish it from other bass instruments like a bass clarinet, bass drum etc. They also sometimes call it a "double bass" in classical music. It's all the same instrument though.
