  • At first I thought this was an Andy Summers shreds video

  • THe guitar is awful!!

  • omg turn down that crappy guitar sound!!!

  • omg the only good part of that was that slowish part that isnt in the studio version of the song other wise it sounded terrible cept for stewart. the effects blew

  • when did sting join the marines semperfie shit head

  • lol what is up with the guitar's sound! it sux so bad and this is such a bad ass song!

  • Horrible sound. Like two tin cans and a wire telephone.

  • Summers sounds horrible!!!

    Overdelay... Damn...

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

THE POLICE, if only the tour was just begining again... Boy do I miss it!

  • god jul

  • god jul

  • While this certainly isn't the best version I've ever heard, it still isn't bad considering The Police hadn't legitimately played together in 17 years.

  • you're not wrong, sounds terrible !

and when the chorus "kicks" in..

jeez, next time boys, maybe a little sound check wouldn't go amiss

  • wow isn't copeland a fucking genius? I've never seen anyone make drums shout and whisper like he does. awesome.

  • I agree. Copeland is an amazing drummer, definetly one of the best. His style is unique, his hits are sharp, and he knows how to use his set well.

  • Uh, worst guitar tone ever.

  • They still rock !!!

  • I LOVE THE POLICE!!!

  • People should stop comparing this version of Roxanne to the Grammy's version - it's pointless. Musically and technically, this kills the Grammy's version, but the Grammy's version was a forerunner to a world tour and had more of a raw. "live" feel to it. They are both fantastic in different ways - that's a testament to a band capable of producing genius.

  • i loved this extended version the version on the grammys was short this one is magical

  • i agree doc. =I

  • young drummers take note, this is how u play the drums. andy needed to use another effect on this. roxanne is made to be played on a 61 Tele, by and brit named Andy

  • Andy was born in 1942,he looks great for early 60's.

  • i don't like the settings he got on that guitar man he played it way better at the Grammy with the Tele

  • amen to that, very terrible flat tone and but andy summers is still brilliant.

  • ur mom doesnt change

  • Stewart still looks like he did in the 70's...The man doesn't age!

  • Don't watch this!

Save yourself the pain and just watch the grammys version. THAT was the real police reunion.

Back and sounding better than ever!

  • They sound like SHITE. It's *obvious* they haven't played together in 20 years. And equally obvious is the tension on that stage.

  • Don't under estimate Andy Sommers, saw him play with his Jazz combo a few years back, the dude can play.

  • If a better drummer has ever walked this earth then I've yet to see him.

  • Thanks for posting this and the other R and R Hall songs. I had lost my videotaped versions. Where has anyone officially heard of a tour. I have only seen confirmed the Grammy appearance

  • Stewart Copeland. Period.

I'm glad Sting came to his senses at last. Granted Sting's talent stretches beyond rock & roll, but The Police provide his best element for him to flourish. I hope the tour does well and that Andy and Stewart make a ton of money. They deserve it.

  • Their best moments live are when they open up with lots of space and improv. I love the middle section where they do that.

  • Awesome! Stewart still has it!

  • I've been looking for this for ages! Sheer class!

  • Copeland looks and plays like in 1978

  • were the best & will always be special & un touchable for as long we breath air
