I use a pad and it took me fkn ages to get the jist of fadc into ultra.the best bit of advice i could give is not to rush your inputs.i started off doing it slowly then getting a little quicker and eventually i got the timing correct.its still.a bitch to do though.but there s no better feeling than beating one of your mates with it.
Nice vid mate. :) I'm still struggling with this. The inputs are to many and to fast for me. I'm using a pad though. Do you use a pad or a stick youself? and if you use a stick, would you be able to do this on a pad?
@MrHollowSan I use a pad. No stick. Here's my advice to you if you're struggling: assign focus attack to one button, preferably not one of the R or L buttons. You'll pull it off a lot easier. Try it.
Yes, you can actually do exactly the combo you just mentioned. I'll try to record it and upload it later, but I gotta tell you: it's a bit gimmicky and wasteful. If I'm in the corner, I have better uses for the EX meter, or I can just save it and inflict greater damage without the tatsu > FADC > ultra portion.
@MrHollowSan I know what you mean, but the biggest mistake I see people make is trying to pull off their favourite combos against people: if the situation warrants it, go for it. If not, you might be better off with a different strategy. This is especially true for Gouken because he is probably the most easily punishable character in SF4 if you whiff with him.

super work doing it on a pad. ^^ I agree that it would be easier in trials but I would want to use it occasionally in matches too. :)
