  • Sounds like shit. Put a real exhaust on it.

  • Which Comp cams were these?

  • Nice. I'd like to see what heads, an intake manifold, and maybe a better throttle-body setup would do to a motor like this. I'd say all that should solidly put it in the 400+ whp range. Can you imagine all these things done to the new 5.0?

  • slp is the worst sounding exhaust for a mustang

  • nice vid...straight n to tha point

  • Sounds like a GOAT at idle, a mustang on the dyno, nice...

  • when hasn't a gto killed a stang

  • Everytime the Mustang wasn't stock

  • Comment removed

  • how much do stage 1 cams add to the horses and torque?

  • Sick :D

  • 33 WHP gain? Nice! A 364 WHP NA mustang, yum. Now go out and eat those new camaros for lunch :-)

  • haha it takes a couple grand in mods just to beat the new camaro

  • It still costs less than a new camaro with the mods.

a 364 whp mustang will roast a new camaro.

The new camaros are sweet too. I love em.

  • not to mention the fact that they are lighter

  • no it wont. 425 hp stock 2010 ss camaro, more than 361 at the wheels im sure.

  • Bullshit. The camaro weighs WAY more (like 400 lbs) than the mustang. 364WHP is 100WHP or about 115-120 crank HP over stock. A 420 HP mustang GT can run mid-low 12's. I've seen 350hp mustangs run 12.6 with drag tires. An extra 75 hp is gonna put them at around 12.3-12.4. If the camaro weighed as much as the mustang, it would post similar times.

This guy also has 4.10 gears which also makes a huge difference in acceleration.

  • @jpap967 actuall most 2010 camaros stock at the tires range from 330-360 and if you consider the weight the mustang is lighter and more powerful atleast this one is

  • 330-360? doubtful, my 06 gto makes 342 stock at the wheels. an ls3 im sure is better. plus the ls3 will kill the mustang in the top end. 2010 ss + tune >361 at wheels

  • @jpap967 i never said that the ss was slow and even if there is a tune at 361 hp its still not enough to beat the lighter mustang. and yeah i know you have to dump money into a mustang just to make it have 360 but still 4.6 vs 6.2 come on does that not seem like an advantage to you...iv raced several stock 2010 camaros and iv not lost or even came close to loosing but iv got quite a bt of money invested into my mustang look at my videos and you will understand

  • hey man its not about being fair, 4.6 vs 6.2 doesnt matter, run what you brung right? just like how cobra guys hate it when everyone pulls the "stock supercharger" card. like i was saying, lighter or not, top end torque is killer in larger ls engines, 3rd gear = freight train for the ss on the mustang. i raced a buddy full bolt ons with more horse than my 06 gto, he had me for a sec, but 3rd gear was gravy, toasted him

  • @jpap967 thats bad ass dude i agree run what you brung, im not one of those guys who just love fords too that would make me ignorant lol , and as far as top end goes the ls motors do outperform the modular especiall the factory one . but the cam i have in my car is a mid range top end cam so i have no problem going from a 3rd of 4th gear roll...one reason i believe the mustang is so underpowered is because the aftermarket is so popular with those cars. you see more mustang parts than anything

  • Have you seen what the new camaros are running. They run like shit in the 1/4. They can't hook and they have garbage 60fts. They will run with after market parts, and a good tune, but they are not as beast mode as you say they are. And you'd think with a engine as big as that they should be seconds quicker than a little 300hp 281ci motor. What is the LS3? a 6.0L? its a 360something or 370something? I know the ls1 is a 346, and any car will run with the right parts, but not all are amazing cars.

  • @jpap967 hey bro i finally got a video up of me vs my buds 2010 ss he just got his car dyno'd that day and with CAI Tune LT headers and pulley he put down 394 rwhp & 386 rwtq, go check out the video the one after the dyno is racing on the street not the track

  • Nice! I'm about to get a vid next week of my gto getting dyno tuned. now i got a 3200 stall, headers no cats, x-pipe w/magna flows, 231/234 torquer v3 canshaft, underdrive pulley, ported intake manifold and throttle body, hoping to make about 420-430 rwhp :-)

  • actually I have $800 in mods and I beat a new 6spd

  • apparently on some forums he lost to a slightly modified ls1 2004 GTO lol...

  • Hahahaha

  • go figure lol

  • Little to none.

  • Which Thumper cams are those ??

  • They are the Muthers

  • is that the comp 268HR??? sounds really good.

  • They are the MT273LL

  • wow, none the less, thats a beast of a mustang!!!!

  • Thanks. I have it just about the way I want it. Old school Mustang muscle.

  • Nice setup! Good #'s too!

  • Corrected, basically Dyno jet #'s, but's it's all relative, we are trying to show the gain over stock. Thanks

  • what kind of dyno is that?

Are the number corrected?,SAE or STD?

  • did u change ur heads or they still stock? springs ect...??

  • Heads are stock. I did change the springs. all of the other engine internals are still stock.

  • haha at first i thought that was with the cams,i thought damn wtf?then i saw the cam hp.lol.damn i guessed 400 engine hp with all those mods, man im good

  • which comp cams did u got with? im about to order some myself

  • I still have the Thumprs.

  • nice !!

  • No relation to Roy Jones the fighter perchance!? 33whp improvement VERY NICE!

did the cam phasers affect low speed drivablility at all?

  • I'm torn between the comps and the frpp's... Those do sound sweet though

  • nice sound..
