  • Love this little film.

  • @auirora Me too!!! A friend gave it to me for Christmas last year.

  • Pam Grier should have played the part. Pam was sexier

  • @mapboy78 At the time this movie was released, Pam Grier was riding high in the blaxploitation film industry - she had already done one blaxploitation horror film, Scream Blacula Scream, released in 1973-

  • Is that Adolph Caesar doing the voiceover?

  • Love this movie, sure wish a DVD would get released.

  • I gotta see this film. Those zombies eyes are worth the price alone. lol

  • This trailer really cracks me up, I guess Pam Grier said NO

  • at 1:12 thats don pedro coley he played shootin sheriff little on dukes of hazzard I was at fan fest and saw he had a pciture of himself from this movie so I looked up the trailer looks campy in a good way

  • I wonder if Markie Bey, the actress who played the character "Sugar Hill" is still living?

  • @kishaoh I read somewhere that she's still around, although she is no longer in acting - after this movie, she never made another, only taking bit parts in some of the 70's detective shows, like Baretta-

  • @christheone8773 Okay thanks. I had read somewhere that she was in Baretta. I have always loved this movie. I saw it on the Starz channel awhile back, but haven't seen it in a long time since then. I wish that I could find it on DVD. Thanks again.

  • @kishaoh youre most welcome - I had seen this movie on Starz as well, and I had even videotaped it - even though the plot and the acting was a bit cheesy, I still loved Marki Bey's character - I wish she had made another movie-

  • Will someone please upload this movie?

  • I remember sitting up and watching it as a Saturday night horror when I was about 14 in 1990. It was hilarious.

  • THANK YOU!

  • LOL @ Momma Jefferson

  • ShiiiiiaeiiiiiiTTT! man...scary stufff....

  • I never saw the trailer before. It's cool to see!

  • Who is that actress that plays Sugar. She is fine! Reminds me of Vanessa Williams from Ugly Bettty. I bet she still looks good.

  • That's Marki Bey! She was underated back in the day with Pam Grier and Jayne Kennedy.

  • I love these flicks... remember going to the drive-in with my ma and two sisters. We were very young, but my ma could not get a baby-sitter so we towed with. Times were also liberal then, I saw movies I know I shouldn't have seen, but it was fun. What an experience!!!!

  • Yeah! I remember this shit, I saw this when I was a kid at the drive-in (remember those LOL!!) with my uncle and his then girlfriend (my aunt now of course 34 years later with their 3 adult children, my cousins LOL!!!) it was a double feature with Dawn of the Dead. Scared the shit out of me! Sugar Hill (a very underrated horror movie I might add) was a good horror flick with a mostly black cast and was why better than Dawn of the Dead (IMO).

  • My bad, I meant Sugar Hill was way better (not why) than Dawn of the Dead.

  • Starring Marki Bey as Sugar Hill, with Robert Quarry, Charles Robinson, Zara Cully and Don Pedro Colley as Baron Zamedi. Now THIS is classic blaxploitation horror at its finest!

  • the mob boss morgan is played by robert quarry''count yorga, vampire'',his last film with aip.

  • what did they use for the eyes they look fake

  • very pretty voodoo woman

  • The guy going up the stairs @ 0:06 is creepy. Was he floating? However the make up in this film is better than horror these days.

  • Looked to me like he was going down the stairs as if he'd been pushed.

  • I don't think he was floating...he was *falling*

  • omg i saw this and now i gotta get it off amazon or suttin :D

  • Can anybody tell me where I can find the theme song to this movie. I can't locate the single anyplace.

It was called: "Supernatural Voodoo Woman" - by The Orignals. I believe they were with Motown.

  • Watched this on TCM last night (or should I say this morning). Those are the freakiest zombies I've ever seen!

  • 1:20 - IS THAT SAMUEL L JACKSON?

  • Ha ha, thats a funny question. You are referring to the guy in 01:22-01:24 but that is not Samuel Jackson but the guy does look like "Jules" which is a character Samuel Jackson played in Pulp Fiction. 00:49 thats Mother Jefferson from 70's sitcom "The Jeffersons"
