The moth has about 7 restrictions, as I remember: 11 feet long, about 86 sqf of sail area, cat rigged, monohull, single handed, be at the start line by 11 AM.

i want to sail a 49er or 29er so bad, and lasers are good boats probably only because of there sail size, there fun to sail, but they were originally made a a leisure boat with people out at there cabin bring them out, not really racing, but there still fun

the moth is a good boat for 11 to 25 kts but after that its to hard to control and ballast the 49er is similar to the international 14 just a bit faster and similar rules apply
