  • This rare 8mm film was taken by a policeman of the Tokyo Metropolitan police Department.

One the right wing threatened to shoot The Beatles from auditorium in Budokan.

Policemen always watched the whole place in Budokan while The Beatles was playing.

  • Shit, I miss john and George

  • I dont know who owns all but NHK has atleast one,one in coloured and one in black n white.ask NHK.

  • @kenichisaitohchenii Well, nearly. One concert has the lads in white jackets and the other in dark green (often mistaken for black). Both were recorded on colour video tape though. They both circulate on bootleg DVDs

  • There is a TV Cameraman CENTER stage, directly in front of the Fab Four. Was it shot on video or live? Who owns THAT footage and better yet, WHERE is it ???

  • There were two concerts broadcast one in the afternoon another in the evening. The tv station that broadcast it in 1966 still owns the rights to the footage of both concerts

  • @bertskoi

Both? Have you never seen The Beatles live at The Budokan? Its extremely well known and common.

  • Check out another great Nippon Budokan concert. Chicago performed there on June 8,1972. The Chicago concert appears here segmented. Cheap Trick even recorded a live album there once.

  • awesome i rate your video

  • The sound isn't from their concerts in Tokyo. It says so in Japanese.
