Brett is the MAN!!!!! This video is not sped up at all. My son takes lessons from him and Brett will play usually every lesson. I have seen him and his speed and timing is amazing. Not to mention, he is the best music teacher I have met. He generally cares about people learning a musical instrument and values his time with his students. We all as students need to spend some of the lesson figuring out the material on our own so while we practice during the week we don't need Brett there holding our hands. First of all, the dynamics are very different, sometimes in MESH-heads you get some too loud sounds also when you play quiet, and those accident sounds don't appear in acoustic. And the rimsound is very different. On electric meshheads you can almost get the same feel tho, but not in the toms. So, there is differences between acoustic and electric. I was talking about a GOOD electric set, in the cheap ones there are a LOT of difference to the acoustics. Srry for my engishshshsh. :)
I play both acoustic and electric drums. they are not much diffent at all, only a few minor things. BTW this guy is my drum teacher, he can really play this fast, even on an acoustic. He has 3 electric sets, and one really really nice Yamaha drumset. He's endorsed by Zildjian. If you don't believe me, then thats just to bad.

although in parts it looks slightly sped up, how slow would have had to have moved his head to make it look like it was moving normal speed when its bobbing or w/e, just because someone plays fast doesnt instantly mean they sped it up
id say sped up, i know u say look at his legs, but i cant hear any realy bass of hi-hat in his solo, therefore no reason to use his legs. maybe playing really slow and just moving his legs a bit, then speeding up so it looks great with his legs moving at normal speed ? lol i dont know.
