That's right, nearly all the gags used in the show made it into the NAKED GUN movies. Absolutely hilarious show...too bad they got cancelled after only six episodes were produced. This show was years ahead of its time.
They got almost all naked gun jokes from Police squad, the director actually admitted it. The title of the first Naked Gun movie is even "From the files of Police Squad".
All are by written, directed, produced by Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker with a lot of dialogue written by Pat Proft.

It's like she didn't know her line and was reading it from a card!
Far better delivery in Naked Gun 2½ with the late Gina Mastrogiacomo.
