  • You had to stick that dumb comment in at the end of the video. There is no operating system but LINUX, and the Linux operating system uses the Linux kernel.

  • I used to write in C, but then i took an arrow to the knee

  • and the CS students in the new century sing it as well... at least I do :P

  • Assembly is the power

  • I used to know Pascal. all the other languages mentioned here are the ones i never heard of.

    BTW i write in PHP, but learning C

  • RIP DMR.

  • Even without '++' it is greatest language ever ^-^

    love it!

    Bugs live here

    there

    and everywhere....

  • I like how there're no arguments against Basic and Pascal :) Not quite a unique Algol clone, is it? ;)

  • C is my attack horse, runs on all programmable platforms wich i know :D

  • C... C#

    LOL

    :D

  • 17 people dont write in C

  • @aybarserenkul A huevo, jajajajaja, no saben lo que se pierden

  • What about Java?

  • Comment removed

  • @robloxtricks

    get the f*** out

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • It's quite funny listening this in the time of Python and Ruby, but on the other hand: C is still an amazing language

  • @3rr0rIcod3 lol, like 1% of programmers use python or ruby :P

  • jajajajajajajajajaja

  • Click track ftw guys.... Thanks for putting it to music...almost :p

  • RIP Ritchie.

  • Thank you Dennis Ritchie. Unix and C changed the world and the lives of many of us.

  • @alexisbellido all of us, whether they know it or not...

  • Fuck dudes! The TEMPO! My ears are crying :(

  • R.I.P. dmr! Thank you! Thank you for everything you gave us! :-(

  • R.I.P. Thanks for Unix and C!

  • RIP

  • RIP DMR.

  • C is one of the simplest and yet low level language. C++ is bloated and not suitable for dynamic libraries (ABI incompatibility). Thank you Dennis Ritchie, we'll miss you!

  • R.I.P dmr. Thanks for C and UNIX!

  • RIP dmr..

  • timber725 you're such a lame to think that Java is better :D

  • F that write in Java!

  • 15 people don't write in C...

  • So fuck awesome!!!

  • write in java !!!

  • @90cdowns for kernels? for addressing memory?

  • this is music from The Beatles, i'm right?

  • Where is the " } " at the end of the program?

  • Write in Ruby, biatch! :)

  • But what about smoosh?

  • "Debugging forever write in C " =P

  • write in c#!!!

  • @gggskywalker noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Write In C ++ !

  • Write in Haskell! but C/C++ is my mother language and will always use it!

  • C is a pain for strings

    Write in Python

  • @memoivoila Lol that's what everybody thought long ago... then almost everybody realized Java completely sucks. Sorry dude.

  • @turbomoparfreak oh... i better learn c then...

  • Only people with a lot of time write in C. In equal, only nerds at R&D or unpaid garage nerds have the time to write in C.

  • @surkuk123 Or people that write for platforms that don't support java (eg. micro controllers) or people who need extra performance (eg. game developers), or people who want cross language usable components (eg. dlls), or people writing low level software (eg. OS, drivers) or so many others. Actually I don't understand why we need java at all, if you need speed - write in C, if you want to write software fast - write in Ruby/Python/Scala etc. I guess if you want to be enterprise - write in java.

  • Write in... PHP

  • Only wimps use BASIC. Write in C.

  • Write in Python =)

  • Lisp is very cool!

    But.... write in C!

  • F**k yeah!!! XD

    Great vid!!!

  • C++ all the way :D

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA amazing!!!!

  • There is no system but GNU and Linux is one of its kernels \o/

  • Object oriented programming is better :p

  • c is the best!! :D

  • 744 people don't remember that, the same way as C has advanced a loooong way from UNICS (first name of Unix) and the '70s, LISP has evolved into quite kickbutt dialects as (for example) Common Lisp.

  • i'm writing in asm ;D

  • 14 ppl write in PASCAL

  • God knows how i hate the word procedure.

  • public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Sorry, but Java is the Future."); }

  • @letmeaskuaquestion

    Java is borring and lame

    write in c(++) :P

  • @asbito2007 lol no, haha. Java works fine for me. Android apps developer...

    I learned C++, I don't like it :\

  • @letmeaskuaquestion But seriously, Java is a great language. I'm studying it at my university, but I wouldnt want to go along without c++ :)

  • @asbito2007 I studied c++ in the university. I didn't like it, maybe bad teacher. I know it's a powerfull language, Java is a great language too. There's nod bad language (except pascal :P). There's just the wrong language. What do you want to do with C++? In my country it's used for robotics.

  • @letmeaskuaquestion Atm I just learn c++, so I don't know the hole power of c++. too but its fascinating, working with pointer and manipulate some hardware stuff. and its damn fast. btw. I'm from germany, sorry for my bad english

  • @asbito2007 You have a good english, mine is terrible, I'm brazilian... So study a lot of C++ and all the power of it. Don't forget to study a lot of Object-oriented programming. It's important and very powrful too! Good luck on C++ and any other language (You'll have to learn more then on, of course).

  • @letmeaskuaquestion This future must be now, not after 2012, ok? ;) I'm tired of this declaration, i'm hearing it since 2000...

  • Amazing!

  • I expected a segmentation fault at the end of the video

  • @hdalip or a null pointer assignment :)

  • #define ever (;;)

    for ever puts("C ownz!");

  • My C teacher sucked, so I didn't get to learn it properly, and ended up hating C... Hopefully this semester I'll learn to like it...

  • @Shourikan I was in a similar situation a while ago sucky teacher an all. The difference being we were using VB.net which i imagine i wouldve grown to despise even if i did have a half decent teacher.

  • 10 years ahead there will be another fancy language to replace Java...

    and it will be written in C as well. #FTW

  • for(;;) printf("Awesome!");

  • kkk... Muito bom !!!

    Um pouco ultrapassado, porém inteligente...

  • Well... in 1990's, that actually made a lot of sense.

  • I white in Python and Java :)  #lol

  • C is powerfull, but Java and Ruby are fucking awesome! =D

  • if(you==liked) C++;

  • mov $4, %eax..... wrong video XD

  • C CODE IS FUCKING HOT!!!!

  • this is actually wayyy funnier than "the java song"

  • C + OOP + Generetics = C++

    C++ FTW!!

  • .NET.Everything.Anything()

  • Comment removed

  • Parse Error at 0:31, unexpected "

  • @worzelhund XDDDDDDDD

  • @worzelhund didnt get it...

  • @kiodmais thats cuz ur not a programmer, the "}" always closes the code (or class in java)

  • @90cdowns I know what the "}" do, thats why i asked where it is. cause it doesnt appear in the end of the video lol

  • @kiodmais either you are not a programmer or you'll spend alot time debugging code.. :)

  • @worzelhund i choose the last one

  • Oh! I really love this song!)

    Thank you guys! You found the best sound in modern classical music combined with the best language I ever knew!!

  • Hey, C is horrible with graphics, too.

  • cout<<"Write in C++"; :D

    great song my friends :)

  • Awesome! :)

    But: Objective-C > all, my opinion, not yours, so don't flame me :P

  • aaaaaaaaaahahahahahahah awesomeeee

  • Haskell > Lisp > C. Fact.

  • #include "stdio.h"

    #define ever (;;)

    int main(int argc,char **argv){

    for ever puts("Write in C");

    return 0;}

  • Write in C++

  • cout << "write in c++" << std::endl;

  • @MiDnYTe25

    if you use scope before endl, you must use it before cout also.

    using namespace std;

    cout << "learn in c++" << endl;

  • Comment removed

  • @Zuard1 you forgot to include iostream

    also, learn in c++ doesn't make sense, maybe study c++.

    trolling is a art friend

  • 1011 WORKING ON ASSEMBLY-8086

    UAhUAHUAHUA

  • and when C won't cut it, Write in C++

  • trace("Write in AS3")

  • @systat ++

  • void playthat_song();

    {

    playthat_song();

    }

  • Wonders me why this song doesn't bug me at all! :D

  • Do you have lossless audio version? For example FLAC?

  • cmon guys use the correct K&R notation :)

    int main(int argc, char **argv);

  • god created the world...in C :)

  • @MrIOANNIS51

    No it's not, ostensibly yes but its mostly hacked together in perl.

  • QBasic made 9 accounts to dislike the video .!.

  • Bitches don't know 'bout my compiler options.

  • (...) forget Java, .NET write in C

  • 8 people are only able to write in Java.

  • Comment removed

  • Nice song, because Beatles is the best, but if You try to write in Python, You can forgot C.

  • @frobi1969 but if you write in English, you should not forget the grammar... LOL! ;)

  • write in c, write in c. lalala, forget basic and watever they called vb. haha

  • Segmentation Fault. Now let me see you recover from that, bitches! Bitches can't stand segfaults =P

  • I use Java.But I think C a fantastic programming language.By the way,I like this video

  • Write in C !!!

  • 6 people seem to prefer QBasic

  • @pangratt QBasic? that was so low... I mean, so high level... =P

  • @Nuttfair Not to be nitpicking, but that is technicly not possible, as int only allows integers with a value between -32,767 to 32,767 :)

    Ps. sorry for my bad English

  • @JGJ2110 I don't know about your computer and compiler, but in mine (gcc) int == long so... Also, sorry for that and... write in C, write in C :-D

  • like++;

  • An Anthem for developers, programmers, whatever? :D

  • ##This is a python, but whatever

    for x in range;

    x, print("This is awesome on x levels.")

  • Well, C++'s value is C in the expression, but whatever. C+1

  • 5 people write in BASIC

  • -(void)HellYeah(NSString *)szOwesome

  • -(void)HellYeah(NSString *)szOwesome

  • for(;;)

    {

    printf("FUCKIN AWESOME\n");

    }

  • wtf does everyone use printf() instead of puts() for strings with no formatting codes in them? Go take a look at a printf() implementation and you'll be appalled at the amount of overhead printf() brings with it. USE PUTS() when you don't have to format the string!

  • "Error ,try again Cancel or Post" ????

  • int main(){

    printf("OLOLOLOLOLOLOL\n");

    printf("THIS IS EPIC!\n");

    system("pause");

    return 0;

    }

  • @CrackStar96

    int main(void){

    ...

    }

  • Im writing in c right now.

  • I prefer Java... C is still good though

  • Thanks for "Government loves Ada!"

  • perfect!!!! :D

  • @MichMPl ergo needs more \n

  • @MichMPl memory out of bounds exception

  • @MichMPl infinite loop error

  • @MichMPl

    it's more efficient if you replace the printf() call with puts() (and you get the newline added automatically).

  • @MichMPl AHAHA you put us in a infinite loop

  • @MichMPl Worst indent ever ;(

  • char *basic;

    strcpy(basic, "whimps");

    C ftw :-)

  • @nosaintyet

    segfault, "basic" points to sh*t

  • @nosaintyet variable basic is not inicialized, you'll get SegFault :D
