This has long since been swapped to an explorer 302. GT40 intakes, GT40P heads, HO cam and ecm, headers, dual exhaust & plenty more. I did end up getting that original sefi setup working great though, was well worth the time.
I wouldn't recommend doing this if you don't have to. I have a 1984 Grand Marquis that would have originally been Throttle Body Injected (TBI) from the factory, but someone who owned it in the past swapped the engine out for a fuel injected EFI. During my ownership, the car has NEVER passed emissions, has had countless fuel, ignition, and exhaust (including emissions) problems, and has been nothing but a headache. Had the original engine been left in there, it would probably run so much better.

Wow. You actually went through the bs of swapping to efi. What kinda nubers you putting, I am thinking of doing the same.
