  • :O

  • hahah wat the shit? haha dumasses anyways hope they went to jail and became someones bitch in the shower lol

  • LOL, my friend hauls her Mini in her "Mini Van" LOL...No Lie. She pulls out the back seat, pust a walk off mat down, rubber side up opens the hatch and tells him to load up. He jumps right in. People ususally think he's a dog until they double take.

  • Not to mention liars - there's no way on earth they were arrested, because ya know, it ain't illegal.

  • These vid makers are Gump-level intelligence hyper-douchebags.

  • you guys are dumb -.- . . . sure it was unsafe but i was seeing no harm come to the mini . . , u guys are just . . .wow . . .

  • Ya know, every time something happens or someone does with their horse that another person doesn't like is automatically considered horse abuse. It's really starting to seriously piss me off actually. This is not horse abuse,he's fine not injured (unsafe no doubt and I'd never advise it ever) but it's not abuse. If you people don't know horses, don't comment. Please, you're quite annoying....jeez.

  • You people called the cops? really....apparently yall aint from around Oklahoma....nuff said

  • @QHCWGRL11 you mean the people of OK are dumb?

  • i see no abuse. ive put a mini in a truck bed before

  • @billyoco101 dumb

  • sad

  • They would have a haybag..

  • I don't see what's wrong with that.... Horse is perfectly fine... Doesn't seem to care either way and their are sides up to keep him from falling out

  • it mighta been the only option they had ...........my one friend her older sister put a couple of mini foals in the back of her van and had the back windows open ........... in fact the bay and white one fell asleep ............... this was like back in 4-6 grade somthing like that

  • hey my mom used to haul her horse - yes horse, not pony- in the back of her pick-up truck. yeah it had side rails it wasnt just an open truck but still there are so many things people used to do with their horses that is now considered abuse. That pony seemed fine. Really thats not much different than hauling him in a stock trailer other than its a little bit more open. its not like they were going 70mph either.

  • To guys who think this isn't bad- what if it DOES freak out? It could get it's leg stuck or get off not only causing itself danger but also causing other people danger.

  • @PatrickTheMiniHorse

not looking to cause a fight here but couldnt that happen in ANY trailer if the horse freaked? all it takes is the rope being tied a little to loose or the horse throwing its foot a little to high when/ if it freaks out to get a leg caught up in the rope. but yes, I would have to agree they could have at least had some plywood or something on the sides to make is a little safer if he/she did throw a foot or kick out at all. and cut down on the wind

  • You know what horse abuse is? Pounding iron shoes into their hooves. Slapping a saddle on their back and making them haul your fat ass around trails. All these people crying animal abuse, horse abuse, get a life. If you cry animal abuse and still eat meat you're just a hypocrite.

  • where is the abuse?

  • Thats actually pretty funny. Definitely something you don't see everyday. For all of you uneducated people the horse will not suffocate. Still today open topped trailers are used, all over the US, so pretty sure they aren't illegal.

  • ok, It is against the law to have an open top trailer in some states. Yes, it was like that back in the day, but back then we really had no knowledge when it came to horses. NOW we have heaters for the winter, air vents, coolers for Summer, and a top so the horses don't suffocate. BUT I do agree i is not abuse, and it is in fact pretty funny.

  • in South Dakota you can hall a pony in the back of your truck as long as u have boards up high enough so that ppl can't see in.

  • This is so not abuse! there is no harm being done to this little guy. And FWI this probably happens a lot more places then Oklahoma. And you people need to chill their are way worse abuse cases out their that actually needs your support like people not feeding their animals and letting them die a slow and painful death, but no you guys are making a big deal out of this little guy.

  • hahah he looked like hes done that a time or two hahahahah :) its actually funny!

  • This is not a form of abuse but isn't it a law to have a horse or form of live stock in a horse trailer or stock trailer?

  • the mini didnt care at all

  • The sides where just as high as the adorable mini... Look how cubby he is.. I just want to hug him!

  • @RidinRopinCowgirl it is abuse... It is illegal because the horse could jump out and be seriously injured, it could push down the gate in the back, and if they got into an accident someone would suddenly have a mini horse in their windshield!!!!!

  • @horsesrock19991 ok this is not abuse this mini is not in any harm what so ever. He has a tie down on and he is just standing there. And yes anything is possible that gate could come down but the horse is tied. He can not get back there. And have you never seen or heard of a horse trailer or stock trailer door coming open going down the road? Its sad to see and think about but it does happen. This is not abuse!

  • what's so wrong with that?

  • ive put a mini in the back of my suburban

  • It's illegal to put horses in cattle trucks because they can fall and get stepped on and die. But no, you had to call the cops on a clearly well taken care of pony who was perfectly safe. People that don't know horses should just leave it be unless you see struggle involved. This is clearly not a struggle. And because of your acts, I'm sure this pony was put down or sold to slaughter due to being taken away and sold in an auction. to be put in a cattle truck.

  • You should only have called the police if it was necessary. They were going the speed limit that you could go with a trailer. The MINIATURE horse was fine and enjoying himself. He was secure and had food. Like Cowgirl said, trailers were common back then like this for horses. I don't think you should've called the cops unless the pony was laying there trying to get up with broken legs. Downright asshole move to get the cops involved for such a little thing that's not even abuse.

  • ya'll shouldnt have done nothin like that assholes. i live in oklahoma and i was taught to mind my own damn business. mmmkay? if the fuckin' pony freaked out and got hurt then it would be the owners fault, and quite obviously the mini was fine with it. he probably was enjoying the wind, i know my 2 yr. old filly loves stickin' her head out the window of our trailer to feel the wind.

  • @98kire if you allow your horse to stick it's head out from a moving trailer window it really shows your foresight . there are documented cases of horses being decapitated by other vehicles. also things hitting them in the head and being blinded by something hitting them in the eye something as small as a bug or rock. and just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't

  • @98kire PLEASE be careful with the head out the window thing... i witnessed a horse lose its head once to a semi truck because the owner let it stick its head out the window of the trailer...

  • thats terriable i live in oklahoma and i have to say that gives us a bad rep...

  • It's simply not safe because the animal could get loose and bail over the sides into traffic. IDIOTS!

  • @Skippytrucking do you see how big that mini was? Yea tiny right? He was calm and tied up securely. AND he had a nice full bag of hay. It would have been different if they had put a HORSE on there. Horse trailers arent much safer. things could break or they could get caught. When i owned my grey Akhal-Teke Arabian, Jack he fell and got caught in the 2horse straight load we have. Mkay. wasnt our fault or the trailers fault. there was nothing in that utility trailer for that pony to get trapped in

  • May it be not the best idea it is in no way abuse. The pony seems calm, hell he's practically asleep with a hay bag in front of him.

You gotta remember folks, back in the day horse trailers were pretty similar to this with wood around the sides and no ceiling. It's only over the past decade or two that we've started putting fancy shenangins in trailers.

Or how about stock trailers? They are a bigger version of this little utility trailer so don't get your undies in such a bundle.

  • We called the cops. They were arrested.

  • @hntfsh2009 Really where is that video. you know thats a stock trailer for something like goat or sheep. that pony wasnt going to jump out or fall out or anything else.

  • @hntfsh2009 You are a liar, because it isn't illegal.

  • I would have to agree with all of the comments about the fact that the cops should have been called. These nieve city boys have no clue on how to deal with trailering a horse and think that is how all people transport their horse. you cannot help that they are uninformed. all we can do as good horse owners is let them know that horse are sapose to be transported in a horse trailer not a untility trailer

  • how can you laugh at that?!

i agree you should have called the cops, but that is extreemly dangerous for some one to do to a horse, and you should have known that

  • you shouldve called the cops because this is wrong... i dont care what people say, this is a form of abuse. and im pretty sure this is illegal. buy a trailer, you cant be that poor you cant buy a little trailer or at least buy one with some walls. if your going to own an animal, own the rest of the stuff you need to you can take care of it properly!!!!

  • Haha thats prettty funny that sounds like Tennessee.

  • wow this is really cool!!!

  • I'm not gonna lie, the pony looks pretty chill lol. If it was flipping out and looked distressed, then it would be a major problem. But still...Not the brightest idea. Something could easily happen to the poor little dude.

  • oh please! 45mph is reasonable, least it's not 65! The sides are high, and he has hay (in a hay-bag). Looks like he's done this before. Hard to judge the situation based on a one min. clip, going down the hwy.

  • Ummm, How is this abusive? I've seen them hauled in sheep haulers before, and the horse didn't seem to worried about his travel set up. Lighten up you CITY BOYS

  • I'm not sure I like this.

  • Get a LIFE people are taking AVUSE to the wrong terms... This is just the way of the mid- west... Get over your egotistical selves and realise that ABUSE is not this... At least rename this video place... I saw it when I researched ANIMAL ABUSE... which this is not... HOBBYHORSEGIRL

  • LOL. That's just oklahoma. I went into the little town I live by. There was a pot-bellied pig running with a pack of dogs! Crazy!

  • The mini looks pretty content. I've seen someone do this on the back of a truck. It was a 45min drive. The mini was pretty happy. It wasn't one of mine. I use a stock trailer.

  • The abuse is that they are going down a freeway with a horse in a car trailer. It doesn't matter if its a mini or not. The wind hurts their ears and can deafen them. There is a reason they reated HORSE trailers. If you can't afford a HORSE trailer then don't haul your horse.

  • @LifeIsADreamStables Not really. I have seen open top stocktrailors with big horses in them, is this also abuse? no, same difference. City people make me laugh!

  • There is no abuse in this video. If I were transporting the horse I would have the top closed in so the horse couldn't jump out but honestly, people take the abuse thing way too far!

  • this isn`t safe though, its not an approved trailer to be transpporting a horse, miniature or not, period. You don`t see people driving their horses around in an enclosed trailer you would, lets say,put a car in,do you? It`s not safe.If and animal control officer were driving on that highway they would have them pulled over and probably seize that pony because its unsafe transportation

  • I don't see anything wrong with this either. I think the people that filmed it may have commiited an abuse.

  • i dont see that point....it should be held down? it may be a "mini" horse but it can still jump, and some mini horses r pretty crazy, take rob & bigs for example, but im from east oklahoma and see nothing wrong with this.

  • What's the difference between the horse riding on that trailer and a dog riding in the back of a truck. That horse doesn't look hurt or in any kind of distress to me. Look pretty fat and happy if you ask me.

  • Some people can't afford an enclosed trailer.. Some people just use what they have.

  • what abuse?
