The gameplay and voice acting make up for that imo, big time.

This game was cool for as far as I got b4 my xbox broke. I hate Mircosoft. But I dont like how you get a gun and use it for a few minutes then get bashed back down to another cell and for you to not be able to use guns again but Idk how its goes from the second prison.
i finished it on pc. this game is not a mindless shoot em up, part of the games interest is every time you're caught they put you in another prison thats harder to escape than the last one.

Those alien bosses are easy... One welll placed grenade is enough. And when one comes through the wall, I just strafe to avoid it since it seems to be blind and react mostly to sound.
I think if you try the game, you'll love how the fighting is more realistic and intense because its in 1st person. But Riddick does go intp 3rd person mode when climbing and falling.

When grabbing someone from behind, press the use key (default "E") to do the slow and silent version of any sneak kill. Pressing the attack button does the fast and not-so-quiet version.

When grabbing someone from behind, press the use key (default "E") to do the slow and silent version of any sneak kill. Pressing the attack button does the fast and not-so-quiet version.

in the game u dont have the eyes to see in dark yet but later in the game he will get the eyes to see in the dark

Riddick gets his eyeshine during the course of this game, so in the beginning he can't see any better in the dark than you or me.

Actually in the game you have slightly better than average vision when in stealth mode before you get the eyshine.

After you get caught in Abbot's room and sent to the double max area (Tower 17), your DNA has been removed from the database.
