  • That whistling...

  • no it was in 1994

  • How on earth do they run two steamers and a diesel locomotive on the same train?

  • coupled? o.o

  • Not any harder than operating 3 diesels

  • @Ziltoid667 I've read that they have the diesel in case one of the steamers has problems, also to provide power to the passenger cars.

  • I try to do requests but my dad recored Making Tracks when it was on (I was only about 2 at the time!) and after serching his many videos of rail clips i dont recognise that clip, sorry.

  • Thats ok! I saw this and only had a glimmer of hope, but no worries. Thanks for taking the time to look for it.

    Cheers!

  • I recognise this footage from a TV program (Making Tracks I think it was called) that was shown many years ago. I have unfortuanatly lost the tapes since. If you have any more, please put them on.

  • yes this was from making Tracks .. suprised anyone recognised it tho!! i only have 3 making track programes on vhs and will put them up sooner or later..

  • If you take requests (and if you have the same program) can you please upload the sequence of the American snow blower. I desperatly tried and find that for many years now.

    Thanks!

  • LOL! what's up with the crash 9? it's like a nice cool classic train and then boom, there's a modern diesel!

  • That would be a C41-8W.

  • oops...they look the same from afar

  • Well, I'm just going by the date, since there were no Dash-9's in 1991.
