I agree with you, but Homosexuality is a very very controversial subject, and it has been for so many presidents since the Vietnam War era. This is probably on Obama's list of things to take care of, but maybe the economy and the War is more important at this time. In good time we will have equality.

What is more - in a democracy, the concept of constitution SHOULD receive foremost attention: it is surely the very kernel of the ideology, and deserves immediate redress if there are discrepancies.
