Can someone help me please? when i want to add a theme it says ´you need to enable desktope effects (compositor) to apply and customize themes´. Im a linux noob so someone please help me.
No, Mac OS is based on BSD (which like Linux is a Unix derivate). And the user interface is independent from the OS core. So yes, they basically stole the idea which is not a bad thing in my opinion. People can still enjoy Mac behavior while using free software. I prefer the standard solution with a panel though.
they don't look similar really. Unless you are comparing GNOME Desktop (which runs X Windows System) to the GUI of Mac OSX. All you have to do is run KDE instead of GNOME and any given Linux distro will no longer appear to have a similar GUI (KDE, at best, looks some what like MS Windows). Anyways, Mac OSX is Unix (formerly Unix-Like) while Linux (GNU/Linux) is still Unix-Like. I am not sure where you are drawing your comparison.
Hi! Please dude help me! I have done all the same things and installed that program, and them when i try to open that avant thing it says in new window that screen is not composited. What does it mean? And also says please run compiz fusion or another compositing manager. What should i do? I would need help detailed cause im new with linux... Thanks for everyone
when i try to run avant window manager, i get a message that says Warning: Screen isn't composited. Please run Compiz (-fusion) or another compositing manager.... after i install compiz fusion i still get that same message, whats the problem?

Not really mac is basically a simplified Linux OS. Apple used Linux as a base. That's why they look similar.
