Why the government does not understand prohibition has failed, I do not know. Moderation, regulation and tax. We'd get hundreds of million in tax and new job opportunities in a time when we need them and addicts could see medical professionals instead of being banged up in jail.
People who take cocaine are complete arseholes. She is wrong to say 'everyones on it', but in the music industry most people probably are. Cocaine users can only be friends with others who are. Drugs is what they are, it defines them. Two people I vaguely know take it - they go to a bar I frequent. They both act like complete twats when they're coked up and make total tits of themselves. They can not be friends with anyone who is not a cokehead. No one else can tolerate them twat-like behavour.

Why can't we all just be honest? Admit to ourselves that the war on drugs is an utter failure. Any attempt to ban a substance is just an attempt to change human nature through legislation. It is therefore doomed to fail. As long as there is a demand, there will be a supply. The war on drugs does a lot more harm than it manages to prevent. It harms consumers as well as society as a whole, and is responsible for countless innocent victims.

I actually did (yes, that sort of did) Lily Allen when she was in Australia a while back. I met her through one of my friends. We shared a joint between ourselves and then I shagged her.

Why can't we all just be honest? Admit to ourselves that the war on drugs is an utter failure. Any attempt to ban a substance is just an attempt to change human nature through legislation. It is therefore doomed to fail. As long as there is a demand, there will be a supply. The war on drugs does a lot more harm than it manages to prevent. It harms consumers as well as society as a whole, and is responsible for countless innocent victims.
It's time to legalize.
