I'm just telling you. THE ROCKING ONE IS CREEPY. We went to California Adventure for a band fieldtrip, and people in my group all thought that it will shake a little bit. But it was moving back and forth and everybody was screamng.

It was always hard having to listen to the many things other children in my class had done during holidays.Especially when they asked me what I had done. I always had to reply; nothing. But even though I felt envious of children that had it all, I realized that they couldn’t help being lucky. Just the way I couldn’t help it.I just try to become stronger. I went on this ride ONCE, and I will NEVER go on it again! It's not that I'm afraid of heights, it's just scary on the swinging ones! There is NOTHING to hold on to and there are no seatbelts! I can honestly say that this is the scariest ride I have ever been on...and I'm a thrill seeker for rides.

Yes it looks bad, but that's what has to be done so they can add World of Color.

Come October the lagoon will be fill back up and spring of next year World of Color will be open.

Its feels pretty much no different on a swinging car then on a non swinging one except maybe every 10 rotations or so it gets going a little faster.

I love the changes they are making to Paradise Pier. The Fun Wheel looks great. It gives it more that Disney feel to it. I think they should have added music to the gondolas so that it would feel loud. It's too quite.

I really think it's a stupid idea to get rid of the Maliboomer. It keeps it balanced between the small rides and thrill rides. Plus it looks nice at night.

The removed the ear and repainted the center so it would fit in with the new victorian theme of the pier.

Plus it would look awkward to have two Mickey faces.

Awesome, I got scared as hell on this thing 3 years ago, and also I chickened out on Cali. Screamin. Now that Ive been on Top Thrill Dragster, I realized that those were nothing. Now I regret not going on Screamin', maybe I'll come back someday.

Most likely, the whole point of this park was to compete with it's competitors (Knott's Berry Farm / Six Flags Magic Mountain), and it does get higher attendance than they do, but things in this park are not unique enough to the park (You can find some of those rides elsewhere.)

I personally think that the California Screamin' is overrated. It's a good ride, but it isn't as good as I feel it should be being a signature attraction.

I don't think the reason why this park wasn't doing good was because the Sun Wheel is a horrible attarction, and they need to change it. The roller coaster looks much worse without the Mickey symbol.

Do they really need the Golden Zephyr when they have the Swings in the Orange? Do they really need the S&S drop tower? They need more things like the Little Mermaid they are finally adding, more stage shows, and close down the factories.

I just wanted to comment on the superstar limo ride it actually was not a flop it was a test ride for one that is now at Disneyland. If you ride Winnie pooh the track of Superstar Limo and that ride are identical and thats because its the same ride. An insider told me that the superstar limo was never suppose to be a ride at all but a testing ground for new attractions. Today it house a permanent attraction but when it opened it was undecided.

Winne the Pooh and SSL use a bus bar system that has been on several Disneyland Dark rides for 50+ years. And Pooh uses the exact same ride system that Pooh uses at WDW and that opened in 1999. Nothing on SSL was first of its kind.

SSL was always in the plans for DCA. And if they wanted to build something to test ride concepts on, they would build it at the Imagineering head quarters out in Glendale California.

SSL was a complete and utter failure of a ride. As was DCA as a park.

Pooh does NOT use the same system as WDW's version. WDW's is a four person vehicle that lacks the motion capabilities of Disneyland's. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it used the same system as WDW's Snow White ride, which uses a six-seater vehicle and makes the same style of wide turns.

I don't understand... why did they change the Mickey head on Screamin' & the Sun Wheel to begin with?? I think it looked much better the way it was. The new gondolas on the Mickey Fun Wheel look pretty cool, but the sun on Screamin' looks kinda lame imo. Looks like a 4-year old painted it on there. The old Mickey head silouhette is what gave Screamin' its identity. And the words 'Paradise Pier' above the loop looks kinda tacky to me. It looked better on the bottom where it used to be. JMO.

What looked tacky was the coney island style of theming used on the boardwalk. The white city look is so much better. Just by switching the mickey head and the sun between the two rides makes the place look so much brighter. Everything that is changing in that park right now looks leaps and bounds better than it did.
