one thing i don't like is the almost american accent, and what's with the magic? there was at a maximum 20 user's of true magic and even then, most of them didn't use much of it, it corrupts them eventually, so all this magic is putting me off, just like LOTR: Conquest.

My prognosis: I can only assume that the "Human" in this trailer is one of the Istari (which would have to be either Radagast or one of the Blue Wizards, since he clearly isn't Gandalf or Saruman), otherwise how would he have convinced the Eagles to get him, an Elf, and a Dwarf inside an orc encampment, along with casting an electric bolt and a magic bubble from his staff?

Or that Snowblind Studios f***ed up in the lore department. Unfortunately, I'm going with the latter :(

And btw bloodthreat, if they were THE best studio to keep with the lore, they wouldn't let a Man be able to shoot lightning, magic bubbles, and freeze enemies. Powers of that caliber are reserved for greater beings like the Maiar, and not even Gandalf flaunted his powers like this even in the books! This is clearly the "D&D" effect that is given to nearly every retail game in the LOTR franchise.

Well your right and all. But Gandalf was one of the 12 or so wizards in all of middle earth. I hope they don't pull a LOTR Conquest and make it a standard class. We know of Radagast, Gandalf and Sauroman, but the books explain there are a council of around 12 or so that met up at Isengard. So yea, theres more than one wizard. But hardly any more. And there are no 'mages' or 'magicians' in LOTR.
