EXACTLY. That's why I love Avatar. Instead of the stupid little excuses most cartoons have for "female fighters" who fight with lame logic and weak strength, Avatar actually HAS female characters that are just as strong and good as the male fighters, if not, better. In the show they actually have fighters that aren't male and are beautiful and strong and amazing unlike so many other shows. They're for once equal. Best animated show EVER, in my opinion.

when i saw mae whitman in scott pilgrim, i almost peed my pants! i love her, she will always be one of my favorite actors, after her performance as Katara, i was blown away.
I wish this series didn't have to end. It was my favorite show! I've seen every episode multiple times. Katara was one of my favorite characters, and waterbending was my favorite bending power.
I really hope they make The Legend of Korra good. It does have pretty big shoes to fill. XD
that battle between Katara and Paku should have defiantly been in the movie because if they would taken advantage of that than maybe the girl who plays katara would have a better role model than f--ing Bella swan. But with that idea M. Night would probably make it worse and have her give up sooner than she started.
Katara isn't my favorite out of the Avatar cast, but I gotta admit that out of all Mae Whitman's voice roles Katara was probably her best. I didn't care much for her take on Yuffie (I preferred Christy Carlson Romano.) Plus you gotta admit that she packs a lot of spunk. :p

It's important that you don't yell or get mad in order to look mature (Parents are suckers for that). Tell them about the positive messages that this show is presenting and how it is teaching tolerance (something your parents seem to haven't learned yet). Tell them how the characters are great role models and it doesn't matter where they came from.
Idk if my parents will do this or not but I think they were talking about me not watching this show anymore because the characters are Buddhistic. Mike and Bryan said that they never said they intended for Zutara to happen in the beginning. Nickelodeon tells lies and gives out false hopes for Zutara. @ZarocLow1994 Slightly. I'm actually disappointed neither of them are very good-looking. Azula's voice actor looks too much like Viggo Mortensen. Toph's voice actor is pretty nice though :P.
