I lived that life. As social chairman in my NH fraternity in the late 60's, For two years I hired bands like Otis Day and organized our weekend parties. In fact, I have to say I helped bring R& B to my university. One of our bands had a singer from the old do-wop band the Five Satins, who did "In the Still of the Night". My kid is in a band now, but they don't dance and raise hell quite the same way as we did. THEIR LOSS!!!

I saw Otis do this song at an outdoor concert. There must have been over 30,000 people singing along. Everyone was yelling SHOUT and throwing their hands up. It was one of the best times I ever had at a concert. Thank you Otis.
