yes there is. On my project64 it has a bunch of cheats already set. One of them is called "use c buttons anywhere" meaning u can use any item basically anywhere. ill try and find out code

i used GCN as well to use codes you need cheat software such as action replay or gameshark (i PERSONALLY recomend action replay) but make sure you can enter codes with it....otherwise your pretty damn screwed...default codes are nice but really limit you
