fail, i could put my bike on a rack, spin both wheels and start filming and claim my bike is 2x2 too.. if you want to show your bike IS 2X2.. place your hand on the pedals and turn them so people can see the pedals moving the wheels...
I saw this SAME TECHNOLOGY back in 1992 on a $99.99 mountain bike at a Pic-N-Save (now known as Big Lots). This system for $150.00 without the bike seems expensive. I wonder how reliable it is. I remember the instruction manual stated that both tires needed to be at the same exact PSI. I considered buying one but I already had a bike. After they sold, I never ever saw one again until I came across this video.
I actually spent about two days trying to solve the technical issues and find the sources for the parts I need (and still doing it).
Mostly settled the what and where from to buy (cable, jacket, bearings, gears, etc) and just thought I'd google fot "2wd flexible shaft" and felt like I got hit in my head with a sledge hammer... Somebody already invented and built this...
Does anybody know where I can buy the cable gearing assembley for this bike? I need it for a weed eater motorized bike project I want to build. Looked extensively and couldn't find anyplace that sells it.
you shoud film it so that it shows the 2wd system working rather than just a shot after you spun the pedal and grabbed your camera. for all we know you just spun the wheel with your hand. you know what i mean?

Crappy vid & description but the idea is genius.
