Dr. Carl Austin Weiss did not kill Huey Long. If you watch this episode plus read the book Accident and Deception: The Huey Long Shooting it reveals that Dr. Weiss did not kill Huey Long. Dr. Weiss was a very religious man, a Roman Catholic, happily married, and had a three month old son named Carl Austin Weiss, Jr. From what I saw on Unsolved Mysteries and reading several books about the "alleged assassination", I do not believe that Dr. Weiss killed Huey Long

Weiss stalked Long all day. None of the body guards came forward with a different story. Weiss had a motive. If the only counter-evidence is a doctor's 1st impression of the size of a bloody bullet, I'd say there's no cause to re-open the case.
