I understood how he felt. My mother never supported me in my accomplishments. But, I found weightlifting as a teen and Jesus as an adult; which healed me of the pain. Also like Lou, I have a wonderful wife and been married for many years.

What a gentle soul. What an asshole of a father... I can relate. Watch pumping-iron, you'll see Lou was more upset about what his father would think when he lost v. losing.
