Amazing how many people looked at this and called it terrible. Must not know what you are looking at. His technique is excellent and his "big" movements are done to show cleanness of technique. Look at the "big" movements demoed by Rickson and Royler as opposed to when they fight. Same thing, good stuff.
Anyway i consider that the falls and throws are always more the work of the uke, because if the uke do not jump or fall when it is needed to he/she may get hurt, a fall it is not a drawback also, it is a way of scaping from injure and a possibility to attack again. In my dojo there are a few guys injured this year because of bad uke's work: one fractured (in jo practice), one with a bone of the arm cracked (with a shihonage).
I kind of agree with you about the Uki thing, its their job to make the Sensei look good. The problem is theres working with the Sensei then there is falling over when he looks at you; I just think they go too far in this vid.
i agree with luz, and thats the main problem I have with MOST schools, willing uke's... and besides, this guy's movements could work, they're TOO BIG... big movements means no power and/or poorly executed technique
This is a big pile of poo. Every last guy in that video is working with the little sensei guy to make him look good. He puts no effort behind anything he does, it is not possible to make someone do a triple-back-flip-swan-dive from tickling their ear.
no loser they will not take it serious they are just showing the techniques and inspire kids to join them not to be violent can you sensei all his doing is putting his students in the floor its self defense showing off so kids would join him for self defense not violence so STFU you wannabe martial artist
Ow... your words wound me deeply... Anyway, we have to remember this is a MARTIAL art, not just an art. This guy is prancing around looking pritty, NOT training to defend himself in any real way. I don't deny that alot of his stuff is pritty but that is where it stops. And you really have no basis for calling me a martial artist wannabe; then again you are just yet another ignorant little person quite happy to make sweeping comments just because someone says something they don't like.

5 guys or 10 guys... can be done, remember internal arts don't use brute strength, they train on chi.
simple question is.. " who do tires able to withstand the weight of 10 tons?, while what they contain is just only air?"

the concept is like tai chi chuan... training on the chi power. the universial energy..

Didn't like the start, too dramatical whith the smoke and with five guys pushing the sensei. makes it look like fake...
the rest looks fine, don't agree whith luz, this looks very real to me.
