@CharleyStudios Why not consider the myTouch 4G Slide? It's much newer and more advanced than the myTouch 3G Slide, and the 4G has a better camera, much faster processor, more storage space and is all-around much better.

@L3z420 adding on to Bob, the mytouch 4g has a 4.1 (about) screen, while the 3g slide has a 3.6 inch screen. the snapdragon 1 ghz processor in the 4g is better than the 3g slide with a 600mhz, which means the 4g runs more apps with less lag, and runs games at a higher framerate.

@thatsg03 I think the myTouch 3G is no longer in production, although some stores may still have stock. If by "4g galaxy" you mean the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, then that is a nice phone. That would be my choice.

@betzy4732 The Samsung Sidekick 4G is a faster phone with newer technology than the myTouch 3G Slide. The Sidekick 4G also has faster download speeds. If it was me and the prices were similar, I'd go for the Sidekick 4G.

You can pay full price for the phone (~$500) and won't have to buy a data plan. But if you want the subsidized price (less than $100), you must buy a data plan.

The myTouch 4G has much faster internals than the 3G, not to mention HSPA+ compatibility. However, I really don't follow what phones are available outside the US... hope you get something you like!

@4x4ram will, the htc hd2 is real confusing. if your getting the g2 or the 3g slide, the you would have the keyboard, but im getting the samsung vibrant, which has a gorgeorous 4" amoled screen. which i love. but if you a slow texting then get the one for the keyboard, perferbly the g2, because its the newest version:)

I have this phone and it does everything...FAST!!!. The 600mhz cpu can WORK!! No lag. No disappointment. Genius button really IS great. I unlocked mine to work on LIME. wifi works great. youtube vids are clean and fast. Keys feel nice. Swype texting Rocks!.Overall, another great phone built by HTC.
