It's really amazing that there is something like that.. my son has a therapy cat for his autism.. it has helped LOADS.. I didn't even think of for abused children :(
i think this is both an amazing charity, as someone in a similar position pets make the world of difference in people feeling like they can connect to other people by first learning about it from pets.
You beautiful people and you beautiful dogs. The unconditional love that these dogs can demonstrate to these children will be priceless. I know people who have been abused and then later on in life become the abuser. Maybe if they had felt the unconditional love of a dog and the people who work for this organisation, they won't have become such violent people. Dogs and humans have evolved together thought time and have therefore evolved a communication which is understood by both us and them.
I can always support helping children and animals. This is a lovely and amazing charity.
