That was beyond eeriest thing I have seen in a great while. It looks more human than any robot I have ever seen, the way it postures is more human than a person could mimic.
This could be fun to experiment with; and would help those who might need help remembering their dreams. It's one step closer to showing others our dreams.
even though its not ai, just because there is a wire connecting it is no basis to judge that on. if it were, whose to say there arent computers with the ai program on it (though there are not).
You know that the same action is the result of the same signal from the same data line for a given resolution (in signal strength and time). But how many signals are being captured, and at what resolution? This isn't really "medical use", so you can use "unapproved" chips (as EEG is mostly harmless), which means 16 channels at 110 million samples per second with about a sepillion times the precision of the cheaper medical EEGs. You'd need better signal isolation, but it would be fun to do.
Whoever these movements are based on was having one weird dream. At around 1:30 it was definitely getting its freak on, and at around two minutes it looked to be taking a dump.
It's... so strange. What a concept. I'd like to see these marketed commercially as decoration: you put down on a window sill or table, they download these strange movement patterns down from an online database through their wi-fi connection, and you can just sit there, watch them and wonder what the hell they're imitating. Certainly I can imagine that being fun.

Arriba El Salvador, arriba Fernando Orellana, tu padre me envió este video y no lo podia creer, en buena hora un logro para nuestra gente.

wow, I didn't think that technology was possible, thoe the brain wave recordings must have been a nightmare.

Great job !
This robot is replaying the human dreams.
When You sleep, machine is reading Your eye, heart and (main) brain parameters, then the robot read it, and replay it. Cool.

this is not an AI control open your eyes wide enough to see the wire attach at the back of the robot

Meaningless arbitrary motions. Not very impressive.
mstcrow5429 4 years ago
Looks kind of meaningless to me. Sure, it moves in relation to the electrical data...but what does it tell us in doing so?

My thoughts exactly.

Or taking a more logical guess, during the 1:25-35 period, it was probably reading brain waves related to 'fear'.

That would be boring.
But seeing a robot do what you did in your dream would be pretty cool.
OMGITSCT 4 years ago
Well, maybe if you remember your dreams, and don't mind sleeping with censors attached to your skull and eyeballs...
Hostile 4 years ago
Definitely, lol.
But I would think it would just trigger some remembrance if you forgot your dream or something at least.
