There's a few plays I can think of that could easily be on this list (and I understand that this video came out before some of them): (1) Plaxico making that crazy catch against Michigan in 1999, (2) Paul Edinger kicking the game winner against Florida in the 2000 Citrus Bowl, (3) the Little Giants play to beat Notre Dame in overtime in 2010 and (4) the Mousetrap play that helped beat Northwestern in 2010.

Well its kind of narrow minded to comment like that unless you have a deep knowledge of MSU football and the significance of many of these plays. But hey, most of the comments on You Tube are boorish, inconsequential drivel, and almost ALL from a negative angle. So yours fit.

Most of those plays are consistent with being "highlight plays" for a team that just hasn't been very good over the years. Let's face, the last Rose Bowl they even went to was the McAllister pass game...and that was in 1987. Half of the games those highlights are from they lost (Illinois in 85, U of M in 2003, etc.) so I don't know how significant they can actually be.

Although I got my degrees from WMU and EMU both my parents are MSU grads and nobody knows more about them then me.

In the first play, I believe that is Mark Ingram Jr.'s father. Thats the Mark Ingram thats a heisman candidate at Alabama.

Yep that is his dad, Mark was really close to going to State because his father went there, but Saban convinced him to go to Bama
