great video i work on a gas well service rig and we still use this technolgy to drill out frac plugs, etc. we also use the bailing method to remove frac sand that comes back out of the formation after being pumped in to hold the formation open after the fracing process takes place
I'm glad there are more cable tool drillers around. There aren't many people who can drill on a cable tool rig. We have put some videos of our own on you tube under 1938 Witchita spudder spudding in. So watch them and see what you think and comment me back. Thank you.
I have watched your video and I wanted to say that we have a few Cable tool drilling rigs we have a spudder it has a flat belt and a wooden band wheel It's model make is a 1938 special We are located in New Mexico We don't have to drive pipe only on work overs or clean outs. and in your video it shows the man holding the drilling line i would just like to say that you shoudn't hold the line you should look at the header to tell if you are hitting the bottom of the hole But it was a good video.
interested in H2O drilling
