Joker does have a point, about the cash value of scruples... I'd take the marble too...
I know people pick on the Commissioner Gordon but from other episodes I just get a feeling Commissioner Gordon knows who Batman and Robin really are but chooses not to know... maybe I am seeing things that aren't there...
I am also not sure if the Gotham Police are really that helpless or just dependent on help because they never had to actually catch one of these guys on their own without his help.
I came here expecting a bad performance from the actor playing the joker given how campy this show is, but boy was i mistaken. He is hilarious and loony as always!
It took me years to find out what the word"Jackenapes"ment..let alone the word"Scruples..but I could think of worse things to call that crazy, crooked clown"The Joker".
how many thermites did the henchman put in saturn? because it looks like batman knocks it out then after her frees them 2 two the thermite is still in saturn
i agree that this should already be on dvd, i mean what are they waiting for ? do they
have any idea how many baby boomers grew up on this show? they would make millions. i was 7 years old in '66 and i was crazy about this show then as i am now. the brilliant colors, the overacting, the campiness & cornyness made for a great show, in addition to the stars playing quirky parts
where are we gonna get these as a box set? i want them all hung pride of place in my life their ace!!! absolutely friaken amazing dudes lol love them. but im just a.... krakpotbin........enjoy. stick them back on....plz
@danny205wp ---It WAS GREAT stuff back then...remember it well! If you missed the late 60's and early to mid 70's, I'm sorry. But those were some of the BEST times.
Cesar Romero besides Jack Nicholson were the two BEST Jokers we ever had. Of course Cesar started it all and everyone else followed his lead so to speak in there "rendition" of the character. That "cackling laugh" Cesar had was just so natural on him he didn't have to force it as i felt Jack Nicholson did at times. And of course Heath Ledgers performance of the character was a whole other animal in his portrayal. Also its great when "gay performers" like Cesar get there "kudos" in hollywood.
They won't its a combination of rights issues and wanting too. 20th Century Fox owns the rights to the series, while WB owns the rights to the Batman property. Also WB doesn't want to bring back the campy Batman by releasing them on DVD. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is the closest to the camp that they have made since the Nolan series started.
This is also part of the reason Watchmen's future is up in the air right now. As 20th Century Fox still owns some of the copyrights to the characters, this is now part of the bargain in 20th Century Fox allowing WB releasing Watchmen. Fox is willing to give up the copyrights if Warner will allow them to finally put this out on dvd.
Are you serious? You mean we are finally going to get this on DVD soon? That is the best news I've heard in a while, thanks man. To think it took a rogue Justice League to make it happen GO WATCHMEN!!!
*rolls eyes* Why must all the female villains on this show act so SEDUCTIVLEY?
I’m sorry but I find it kind of annoying and mushy! : /

I have to hand it to the Joker. He not only got away with the crime, but he stole a police car and even told the cops: "After them!"
From what I've seen of many politicians including that stupid media clown Obama, they would have been dumb enough to fall into the Joker's plan.

Which episodes do you know have:
- "I swear if you have done something to Batman and Robin, I swear with every last breath of my body I'll stop you!"
- Some episodes when Comissioner Gordon says something about the dynamic duo after the duo leave to start the case in the beginning
