  • Nigger rigged garbage

  • Hi rly nice job. :) 2 quick questions: do u put the sprocket and brake disk together? and 2: does the caliper you get have to be the same size as the wheel?

  • @harryabram1 No, the sprocket and the brake disc are not together. And your second question doesn't make sense.

  • hey man you are really good , but could you give me a blueprints of go kart ?? pls :) <3

  • nice build goood job

  • Did you weld your wheels to your axle?!

  • very good welding :DDDDDDDD 0:35s

  • How come the axle doesn't slide away?

  • Where did you get your axle hangers?

  • @Baseballt97 A store.

  • @TheComputerDewd what store

  • @Baseballt97 Blue collar supply.

  • i wouldn't trust those welds, the amounts of slag and lack of fusion in the welds im amazed that the kart is still together

  • @ksidornseif Cool story bro! Tell it again :)

  • @TheComputerDewd It wasn't a story bro! =P

  • @cjdinga

    I do :)

    buts its not THAT GREAT

  • @cjdinga i do :)

  • Hello. What stops your axle sliding on the bearings? Because wouldnt the axle slide side to side. Thanks.

  • @kamakazi8888 at 1:02 there, next to the bearing is a hex nut which clamps the inside of the bearings to the axle stopping axle sliding

  • i dont get how the brake disc works and how doesnt the back wheel move in and out because there's nothing stopping them please could you message me back btw your videos have been a great help and im goning to build it near christmas time :)

  • @MrSaltytuna On the caliper for the disc break, here is a slot. The disc is welded on to the axle, but the caliper is welded on to the go kart.

The disc must be aligned inside of the caliper.

The wheel's dont move because they are welded into place.

    Thanks, Jason

  • @TheComputerDewd ok thanks and i've been on your website it's pretty cool and thanks for replying so quick

  • @TheComputerDewd the back axle, how is that mounted in any way to the kart? I dont have ANY experience with these kind of things so please dont mind my stupid question (nor my bad englis im from The Netherlands) 'cause how i look at your video i would say it just hangs loosely and it can move to the left or right?

  • @superstoer To mount it i just used some bearing blocks. And it wont move out of place because the bearing block's are tight.

  • @superstoer ah ben ik niet de enige nederlander die deze filmpjes kijkt ;)

  • can it be 18ih

  • where did you get those parts?

  • @cjdinga No i dont o.O

  • Where can you get axle hangers

  • @Armaangandevia1 Anywere? Ebay? Amazon? Stores?

  • @TheComputerDewd I can't they do t ship to hongkong where I live

  • @Armaangandevia1 Like, half the stuff on ebay is from hongkong.

  • @TheComputerDewd ya but they dont ship with in hong kong :(

  • .... axle hangers is the wrong term they are pillow block barings

  • @lizard5109 Its "bearing" not "baring. Also i called it "axle hangers" because this video is for beginners witch probably dont know what it is.

    Thanks, Jason

  • @lizard5109 ok

  • doesnt the axle move side to side when your riding? how?

  • @maxi2365 The axle hangers have bolts that tighten it so it wont move. Also there is the break caliper + the drive chain.

    Thanks, Jason

    TCD

  • im confused where u put or added the brake pad? can u help me?

  • @braseldazzle Brake pads go on the caliper.

So first u get the Brake Disc, weld that to the Axle.

Then u put the caliper and mount it in place so that the Disc is inside of the caliper.

    Thanks, Jason

    TCD

  • Your good

  • thanks for the link!

  • can you also send the link to me??

  • Alright i guess some of this stuff is fine but you can't just weld everything together like that for the sprocket you need a woodruff key and a hub and a legit axle not just a rod or pipe other wise one of theses days your gonna bust the weld due to torque on the tires. How many HP is your motor? And what kind of clutch torque converter or centrifugal?

  • @MrPEACEpizza oh, ill send you the link again.

    Thanks, Jason

  • @MrPEACEpizza I PMed u the link yesterday.

    Thanks, Jason

  • @MrPEACEpizza Here is 2 of them for $17 with FREE SHIPPING :D. I cant put it in a comment so ill just pm u.

  • @MrPEACEpizza Is ebay ok?

  • @MrPEACEpizza One sec leme find one

  • @MrPEACEpizza I got them at my local supply shop but it will take some searching. I highly recommend just getting it from ebay. PM me if you want a link.

  • @TheComputerDewd Thanks for your reply! I gonna try to build one! only a few parts are difficult to get here in The Netherlands(spindle kit) :( so I need to get them from the US. And about welding , are you using a MIG welder?

  • Hey, your vids are nice but I have one question. How did you installed the back axle so that it doesn't moves, did you used only nuts and bolts??

    Please let me now it

  • @martijnjes Thanks! :D Well i didnt really put anything in place to make the axle not move. The break caliper and the sprocket basically hold it in pace.

  • hi man.. im a kid like you... im trying to build a go kart to... can u tell me how to connect the engine? + how did you find out how to build a go kart? thats amazing

  • His dad ownz a shop, ahah..

  • @xaioguy73 oooohh right! LOOOL!

so do yo no how to put in an engine :P?

  • @Vegito545 i can solve your problems if you want just mesige me back
