Obviously this is years too late, but I'd say from the clicking nature of that sound it's more like a cricket than a rat.

I couldn't really hear the audio. I recently discovered I have a roof rat problem. I can hear them scratching wood in the attic. The babies sound exactly like puppies crying and yelping.
